Roc of Cappadocia

Excellent location and friendly owner and staff. You will not regret the decision of booking this hotel. Since there was availability, the owner gave a room upgrade for free. You can book the tours and balloon ride and airport transfers with them, the prices are pretty good. The view from the hotel is amazing. You can enjoy the view of balloons taking off from the hotel.

Amazing place, staff lovely and friendly! Breakfast is out of this world for choice. Perfect location. Even better a little plunge pool for after a hard days sightseeing. Rooms cleaned daily, lovely gardens and rooftop for great view of the city

A wonderful time staying at Roc of Cappadocia , this family run hotel has an excellent location affording wonderful views from several roof top terraces to see sunrise and sunsets and off course the morning balloon flights.. the staff warmly welcomed our family and made every effort to help us celebrate a big birthday, including a private breakfast on a roof terrace, beautifully decorated with balloons and enough food for all of Goreme! (Birthday cake was incredible). We stayed in a cave king suite and it was just a unique experience to be staying within the rock and we were extremely comfortable and happy with all facilities and services.. Roc of Cappadocia is centrally located and unlike some of the other cave hotels it is not a huge hike up a hill to access, location could not be any better for a cave hotel experience ( but quite a few steps to reach some of the rooms) lower level rooms also available. Ahmet and all staff were wonderful and we send our thanks to everyone for caring for us during our stay and celebrations at Cappadocia. Highly recommend.

Amazing stay at Roc. It is a family run hotel but the experience was simply outstanding. Many positives to call out - a) great location which is literally 2 minutes away from the market and restaurants b) massive room (certainly room 302) with lots of place c) experience of staying in a room carved in a cave d) open areas outside the room, restaurant to look around e) fruit trees in the hotel premises f) well taken care of by the family… and many more All in all a great place if you are visiting Cappadocia. Felt we should spent a few more nights but perhaps next time

I stayed in a suite. It was a real cave in the Cappadocian stone. What an experience! The communal areas, including terraces and the little pool, are well kept, with a lot of greenery, and it was a pleasure to stay there and just chill. It also makes a wonderful location for your pictures at the sunrise when the flying balloons lift. The staff was very kind and helpful, they arranged for me the transfer, the activities, and the flying balloon tour. Little tip: I think it’s a bit less expensive to book the flying balloon on site than online in advance ;)

It was very nice and Ahmet was so helpful and our friend from Kazakhstan was kind and careful and the room was huge and clean. Only challenge was the ventilation from the bath room which was a bit smelly when it was active. It was a nice stay and we appreciated Ahmet’s advise and his help for our tours and trips with all the attractions. The room was huge and it has all we needed. The best cave in the world, but it is a cave, you need to be aware before you come. Terraces in the hotel, 4, where you can lay for a coffee, go out at 6-7 morning in pyjama and enjoy the ballon show, all around the sky. All in one, is a great place, great people. Last but not least, the lady who managed breakfast was so warm, she just asked to make for us what we said. She told us we are “at home” and at home we felt!

I would recommend this hotel to everyone who are going to Cappadocia, one of the best hotel in town, location in excellent, The staff is so over whelming that you will feel like home, Quality of service is over the top and more then 5 star. Highly Recommended.
