Hotel Villa Margherita

Good location. Central near to restaurants and only 1 or 2 minutes walk from the beach. Friendly and helpful staff. Views over the bay are amazing. Pool area and gardens are beatiful, jacuzzi was great. Rooms are lovely, comfy bed great shower.

What a beautiful hotel. We stayed here as a family of 4 for a week at the end of July. Spotlessly clean, the staff were fantastic! Gabriella, Elise and Elizabetta were all so helpful and kind and really made our stay. The pool is fabulous. Never felt busy. Our room on the top floor had wonderful views and was spacious and clean. The hotel itself is very well kept and it's in the perfect location with plenty of restaurants nearby. Thanks to all the team for such a fantastic stay.

Had an amazing stay here. Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location. Staff were so helpful and friendly. Room was gorgeous with lovely veranda and jacuzzi. We booked half board and the evening meals were amazing. Great choice every night and on one occasion they even cooked me something different when there was nothing I like. Drinks and wine were very reasonably priced. Great cocktails. The gardens are stunning as is the pool. Lots of sun beds available every day. Spotlessly clean everywhere. We would definitely stay again. One small criticism would be for all the breakfast items to be covered over as there were flies about. Most things were covered however.

This is a beautiful, family-run hotel in the small resort of Golfo Aranci. From the moment we arrived, we knew we'd booked a very special place to stay. The hotel is beautifully maintained to the highest of standards, both the buildings, swimming pool and the grounds. It's clean, comfortable, and has every amenity you could wish for. The staff are wonderful. Everyone we encountered from cleaners to the owners were friendly and welcoming. Anything we asked was accommodated. The food was also fantastic, particularly the evening meals. Overall, we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. It's a little fem in a stunning place.

We have just come to the end of of fabulous week at the Villa Margherita Hotel. We were travelling with our 8yr old. From start to finish, everything was excellent. We have been lucky to stay at many hotels around the world and this is one of the best we have ever stayed in. All the staff are wonderful and helpful. We booked a jacuzzi room which we thoroughly enjoyed. The room was a good size even with the extra bed for our daughter. There were nice touches like a children’s dressing gown and good size fridge in the room which is not always the case. Breakfast was pleasant with the usual continental spread plus some hot items. We had booked half board based on the reviews and very glad we did as the food was exceptional and it is extremely good value for money. Our daughter enjoyed every meal she tried from the children’s menu and we enjoyed the nightly changing 4 course menu. There are 3 options for each course which means there is something for everyone and we really appreciated this as not seafood eaters. The pasta courses were incredible. We enjoyed a bottle of local wine with our meal each night - again, great value. Within walking distance of the hotel there are many very nice restaurants and ice cream parlours. We particularly enjoyed lunch at Lo Scorfano Allegro and Il Fare Porto. The pool is a good size and very refreshing in the August heat. It is certainly not cold as some reviews have suggested but we were there in height of summer. There was never once an issue getting a sunbed - no silly towels out at dawn etc. The hotel is very well located and only a short walk from the beach (walk a bit further to Terza Spiaggia Fare beach near Blu restaurant for a truly wonderful white sand beach in walking distance). The hotel is in the centre of town and every night in August it is absolutely alive with activity and entertainment: we saw a parade, DJ, a group of local Sardinian singers and a carnival. We loved it! There is also a small nightly funfair for children which was good fun. We had a wonderful holiday and would come back again in a heartbeat. This charming boutique hotel is perfectly situated in the centre of Golfo Aranci. The hotel is immaculately maintained with an excellent pool and grounds. The rooms are sizeable, quiet, well maintained and all have a fabulous view. Without exception, the team members are professional and keen to assist. Particular thanks to Elizabetta and the ladies at breakfast who worked tirelessly and cheerfully. I dined at the hotel’s restaurant on a number of occasions and would highly recommend the excellent food and first class service from Francesca, Alfredo and Antonio. A perfect, relaxing stay - thank you.
