Silver Lake Sand Dunes OUTBACK

Nice camper great location Our family had a great time exploring the property around, using the tree swing and enjoying the outdoors! Andy was an awesome host!

Needs some work My family had a great trip! The camper is conveniently located just a few miles from Silver Lake and the Sand Dunes. The campsite is very private with lots of privacy and room for parking trailers. There are only 3 other campers on the property, plus 1 house. The camper is now under a big overhang with a built on deck, which was a nice touch! It's fully stocked with many kitchen items and a new grill. Unfortunately, the camper itself needs work. The fridge did not work during our stay. I notified the owner within 24 hours of arrival and she did not reply to my message until almost 24 hours later. She did not attempt to fix the fridge or offer an alternative. Getting ahold of her was difficult due to having 0 cell phone service at the property, no wi-fi and no contact # for texting or calling. The shower leaks water into the living room and kitchen area every time you use it. The bathroom floor is noticeably soft. The master bed framing is broken and squeaks loudly every time you move. One of the tanks wasn't emptied prior to our arrival. Thankfully, we know how to empty them, but the hose that was provided had holes all over it and sprayed dirty water from previous guests all over my husband. The bathroom shower and kitchen sink need better cleaning. There was visible dirt and grime. I wiped a small area and it wiped off easily, which made me question the cleanliness of the camper. Overall, we'd stay at the property again, but not this specific camper.
