A lovely little oasis with excellent staff and a good range of facilities.
Landscaping around the pool makes for a lovely ambience, even has it's own private beach.
We were only on a bed and breakfast rate so can only comment about the breakfast which was excellent with a good choice of fresh dishes (a mix of local specialities and 'international' options).
We had a Deluxe room which was lovely and spacious, with a huge comfortable bed, a fridge and kettle, and a balcony with a fantastic view!
Before travelling our only concern was the proximity to the airport - a 10 minute walk, and you could see the end of the runway from our bedroom door - however this proved to not be an issue as you hardly noticed the aircraft (mainly small inter island turbo prop) and so I would say don't be concerned!
In addition to being a 10 minute walk to the airport - don't bother with a taxi there is a sidewalk - it is also a 10 minute walk to Store Bay Beach a lovely place with lots of facilities (shops, food vendors, bars and changing facilities). The main street in Crown Point itself is another 5-10 minutes walk. We felt perfectly safe walking to / from, and around, Crown Point at night.
The only (very minor) issue we had was poor in room WiFi reception - though excellent elsewhere across the property.
All in all we had a fantastic stay and would recommend Tropikist Beach Resort (if we return to Tobago we wouldn't hesitate in staying there again).
