EasyHotel Glasgow

We stayed at the Easy Hotel twice within the space of a week, I booked both stays before I'd went to the first one... I regret that decision. In fairness the first stay, the room we booked was about £32 as it was a week day. It was the cheapest available that was within the Glasgow city centre area. So it got a thumbs up for being the cheapest, however the rooms are tiny. We got a room with a window both times, genuinely I think without the window you'd feel claustrophobic. I tried booking direct with easyHotel but their site just crashes at the payment page, which was useless as I had signed up for their free in house discount service. Which allows an extra hour in bed before check out - so 11am instead of 10am. Plus it allows for a slightly cheaper rate when booking rooms. I even phoned the hotel to advise that I couldn't book online, they said they don't do bookings over the phone and advised to go via a third party site as it tends to be cheaper. In this instance, going direct was the cheapest - so i missed out on that & went via Trip.com as it was the 2nd cheapest option. The 2nd time we went within the same week, the hotel was was maybe £20 cheaper than everywhere else as it was a Saturday night booking so it came to about £95. I'd have rather have spent that wee bit extra to get the Premier Inn or something. The double room was that small that you needed to crawl over the bed to get to the other side as there isn't enough room to walk around the bottom of the bed. The bathroom is essentially a wet room the size of an airplane toilet. The cleanliness wasn't great the both times we went. Stains on the bedroom walls, grime in the bathroom that hasn't been cleaned in who knows how long. The stains on the floor on the way to the room wasn't a good look either. The staff at the hotel were nice, we weren't bothered by other people also staying there, so if you're literally looking for somewhere to stay the night & don't plan in spending long in your hotel room - then go for it. If you like more space than the 3 paces you have into the room to get to the bed & a bathroom you can walk around in - then pass on this place. Classic case of cheaper isn't always better.

I’ve stayed at several Easyhotels across the country and you know what you’re going to get. It looks like this one was refurbished quite recently as it was in good nick. Paid £36 for a room. Had one without a window and to be honest I’ve got used to not having one. Good quality air con unit, bed was comfy and bathroom clean. Would definitely stay again, it’s spot on for what I need.

Good for short stay and solo trip. Quite loud at night, especially can hear the water flushing or pipe sound from next room.

I got exactly what I paid for. Nothing was a surprise. The hotel set out what you get and don't get for your money. There was a heater and you could control it. Not a given in some places. The hotel is tight in the centre of Glasgow so plenty of travel connections, places to eat, grab a coffee or even do some shopping. I was pleased with my stay.

Really fast check in and check out, polite hotel staff. Good having room air con and comfortable bed.

It’s an alright hostel, but the toilet on my room was leaking, it doesn’t really affects anything just kinda annoying at the night, and after talking to the receptionist about it, nothing got fixed till the next night 🥲

I rarely write a review, but this is easily the worst hotel (for the price) I ever stayed. For the price I paid (around 100 pounds per night), basically what you get is just a bed and that's all ! No desk , no chair , no kettle, not even a cup , no nothing ! This is no different than a hostel, which is only 30% of the price. This is ridiculous !

Booked this hotel as needed somewhere to stay before an interview early the next day. It is about a 12 minute walk from the centre in an alright location ( there is road works being done and renovations in hotel but didn’t even notice or bother us). I had a bad experience with easy-hotel in London Kensington and since then I have been apprehensive to book with them again. I booked this as it was cheap at last minute (£40 for one night) and in a good location. Me and my mum were very shocked at how spacious the room was ( we booked a Twin room) compared to the easy hotel in London. The bathroom is still small but the room is much bigger and there is actually space to move around! The staff were friendly (unlike the staff in London). The downside is that there is only one pillow that is very small and when I asked for another pillow at reception I was told they didn’t have any. There is also no kettle or teas& coffee in room. But apart from that a much better experience than anticipated.
