Tundra Rose Guest Cottages

Our trip to Alaska started with a stay at Tundra Rose cottages. And what a wonderful way to begin our vacation ! I got a lot of brownie points from my family who were delighted by my accommodation selection. We stayed the first night at Glacier view. The happiness of staying in a very beautiful cottage with a view of the glacier ! The next day we stayed at Berries and Blossoms. Both the cottages are beautiful, the beds are very comfortable, a wide range of tea bags and excellent freshly ground coffee. Colleen was very gracious and prompt to reply to all our emails. The cottages have refrigerator and microwaves. There are no food facilities at the lodge but there are restaurants nearby. For breakfast, visit Long rifle lodge. For dinner visit Sheep mountain lodge. MICA guide is nearby too for the Matanuska glacier trip.

We found this stay on a motorcycle ride to Alaska. The accommodations were well above our expectations. Everything we needed for our overnight stay was provided. The cottages were spacious, very clean and comfortable. The view was spectacular and the fire pit meant for a relaxing and enjoyable evening. The owner greeted us upon arrival and was very helpful. There was a nice restaurant just 5 minutes away that was quite good. Check this one out if you are in the area, I think you will be very pleased.

Absolutely beautiful cottages in quiet setting with great views of Matanuska Glacier. We stayed in two of the cottages, and both were very well appointed, spacious, clean, and comfortable. Unfortunately our schedule was such that we only had one night to stay here, but we will be back!
