Pesona Beach Resort & Spa

My daughter insisted I stay here as she had loved it. I'm so glad I listened! One of the first GREAT things about the property is how close it is to the ferry terminal. No need to belabour one of those poor wee horses that pull the tax carts - it's a few minutes walk. Every member of staff I encountered was nice (as well as professional) from the outset. Met the manager/owner? at the end of the stay and she was delightful - and perhaps the leader who sets the standard. The free breakfast is a little limited and next time (because there will be one) I might just opt not to have free breakfast as I'd rather just pay for it and have wider choice and better coffee! The Indian food is VERY good (as is the coconut water - fresh from the coconut). I had one of the "poolside" rooms and it was nice - spacious and with a really nice bathroom. The surroundings are wonderful and having the pool out front (with hammock) is a really special scene. The only negative issues I had were some VERY noisy people partying right outside each night. They deserved to enjoy Gilly just as much as I did - but I probably should have asked reception to temper things a little or at least put a time limit on it. Luckily I had really good silicone earplugs otherwise I would have got no sleep. The silicone earplugs are great - but no match for the rooster that started his day at 04.30 every morning! Since he's not a great layer, I'd suggest the Pesona restaurant do sleepers and diners a favour ASAP....... The dive centre at Pesona was EXCELLENT - really good staff/crew. Super safe and professional as well as being really passionate and pleasant. The on-site spa is also excellent at prices that make you gasp if you are more used to doing your spa stuff in Vail, CO. I think I'd do spa sessions every day I stayed next time.

My friend celebrated her 30th birthday here and the staff went above and beyond to make sure her day was unforgettable! Staff are friendly and helpful, food and service is amazing, communication is good, atmosphere is great, rooms and hotel are clean. We honestly couldn't fault it in any way! We are very sad to be leaving. Thank you to all of the staff for memories that will last a lifetime ❤️

We stayed at persona for 3 nights and had an amazing experience. We felt at home and had such a lovely time talking with all the staff learning a little more about local culture. In particular a man that worked at the restaurant named Hadiyy went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed. I would recommend you keep this man as an employee and if possible seek to promote him to a management position in future. His hospitality and kindness was a brilliant take away from our time on Gili T!

I recently stayed at Pesona Beach Resort with my wife. - We booked a Classic Twin room, which turned out to be quite underwhelming. Although the rooms are small and can be manageable, the problem is that they haven't been designed properly. There is no cupboard to keep clothes, which makes the room messy and disorganized. - On a positive note, the resort offers good Indian food. - The highlight of our stay was definitely the spa services at Azure Spa. The treatments were excellent and provided a much-needed relaxation. - Also its location is pretty great and convenient, for people looking to party in Gili T.

Pesona Beach Resort was incredible. The hotel was beautiful and the vibe was special, it was relaxed, eco friendly, superb food, awesome people. The owner and staff went above and beyond, nothing was too much trouble. We instantly felt at home. The location is beach front and at the heart of everything! There is also an amazing dive centre and spa on site. We couldn’t fault the place and it even felt a little gut wrenching to have to leave!

Beautiful resort, a walk from the port and nearby food, nightlife and shops. The staff are lovely and rooms always clean and tidy, and the resident cats are so friendly if you are a cat person like me. The only thing to note is that the club next door can be rather loud so if you are a light sleeper perhaps mention that so that you could be given a room without a window/door facing that way. The food is also amazing and very helpful having good Indian cuisine with lots of options, being vegetarian. Super helpful having breakfast included too. We definitely want to come back to Gili T and pesona as our 6 nights wasn’t enough!!
