A gem to have a cozy, comfortable stay. Simply wonderful location and awesome accommodation. It is bordering a beautiful nature area for morning walks, is close to bakery and supermarkets and restaurant. And from there it is super easy and fast to reach downtown Gent. Quiet and cozy place to rewind and recharge after exciting town visits.

I enjoyed the cleanness and the quietness. Very easy access from and to Gent. Walking distance restaurants. Embedded in the nature. Great host. The bed was extremely comfortable. Large and clean bathroom.

Marcel de Gand offers 3 spacious rooms, each with its own kitchenette, a big bathroom and amazing garden. Breakfast is also available on request and is very filling. The bed is very comfortable and has a nice selection of drinks to choose from at decent prices.

Excellent and quick communication with the owner. Easy and clear check in instructions (key box). Excellent Flat/Studio layout. Free parking beside the flat. You can go to city centre by car or bus. There are 3 ground flats/Studios beside each other with outside sitting area for each one.

We loved the peaceful location right next to a beautiful nature reserve; there's a lovely private terrace area to enjoy the wonderful breakfast and the studio itself is very comfortable. The studio has on site parking and is located within very easy reach of the centre of Gent by bus. Altogether a great experience and Sandra is very helpful and efficient.

Fantastic accomodation with an incredible host. The information given to us by our host Sandra was priceless! The accommodation and surrounding grounds are immaculate. I thoroughly recommend. The accommodation is a little far from the city centre, however we didn't mind this as we are keen cyclists and we enjoyed the 15 minute cycle to and from the centre.

It is really quiet!!! The beds are beds are comfortable! Rent or bring your bike. It´s 10min to the city. Have a walk in the nature reservoir behind the parking lot. Host are really quick and easy going.

we had a very pleasant stay at "marcel de gand" flats. the hosts were extremely friendly and helped us a lot with a list of hotspots at Gent and surrounding. this place is ideal to visit Gent by bike, just 10 minutes away from the center. the bike paths are generally traffic free. a nice way to discover this beautiful city or environment. we had our breakfast at the private terrace every morning : a quiet place full of sunshine. the breakfast bag contained a lot of surprises : freshly baked bread, homemade jam, fresh fruit salad, sweets, pancakes, yogurt, cakes, fruit juice, ... each morning it was a nice surprise when we opened the bag that was put on our doorstep. thanks for everything, sandra and walter !

A proximité du centre sportif et de la réserve naturelle de Bourgoyen. Les petits déjeuners sont extraordinaires. Sandra vous les apporte avec un tout grand sourire. Au 'Marcel le Grand' tout le confort y est avec une super petite terrasse privée en extérieur. Je recommande vivement cet endroit où le calme règne paisiblement.
