I have booked a so-called superior room in advance, the purpose of our travel to Pyrenees was the special show of Pyrenean breeds. I always choose the dog friendly accommodation and I was informed by the owner that pets are welcome, but she didn’t inform me in advance that the payment for 1 dog a day was 20 euros. Therefore, we have arrived very late after midnight, travelling over 2000 km to Pyrenees. The first a very unfriendly demand after about 3 hours of sleep was “it is necessary to park our car to the other place, because there are the “tracks”. O.K. OMG on a very narrow street in the mountains… But O.K. I did it, although I was half-asleep and my husband as well. The owner doesn’t speak English at all, so the communication with her was very limited. We have missed the time for breakfast, of course, normally you could understand, something like that can happen, if you are travelling 2 days over the half of Europe. But this wasn’t that case, the owner and her husband have very vehemently “explained” to me, that that’s impossible to serve the breakfast later of organization reasons. I can understand this, but we’ve got only coffee a vacuum bottle, cold milk and 2 pieces of croissant, nothing else. Of course, paid breakfast… Now to the so called “superior” room /see pictures/. The entry “door” to the “superior” room was 150 CM high, that’s’ why it was impossible to walk into the room “normally”. This so called “superior large room” has absolutely no standard clear height, there were only sloped walls and ceiling as well. Impossible to walk in upright position, by the way I’m 1,65 tall…We were there with two Champion dogs, of course well behaving, absolutely clean, on the regular basis dewormed, vaccinated, etc. The owner had two or three dirty and free running dogs, even in the kitchen. What about some level of a fundamental hygiene in the kitchen, dining room, etc. Nobody cared. I suppose that her dogs have never been dewormed or something like that. They have barked or attacked my dogs in every moment, when we walk out. I said myself, o.k. your house, your rules. My dogs are well behaving and absolutely calm, they didn’t care about her dogs at all. On the second day of our stay we have been asked to leave the key at the reception desk, because “it’s necessary to clean dog’s hairs”. We were sure, that the really purpose of the “cleaning” was to check the “superior room”, if is not “destroyed” by “strangers from the Eastern Europe with furry white dogs”. This was the only one “cleaning” during our stay, no change of towels, no toilet paper, etc. The “superior” room was full of dust already by our arrival, duvet and pillows smelly with musty smell. It wasn’t our first stay in Pyrenees, but this accommodation was the worst and unfriendly I have ever been in Pyrenees, the owner was absolutely unpleasant to us. I really don’t understand the positive reviews on Booking, of course, I know that in Pyrenees isn’t the accommodation standard comparab

Nous avons appelé la gérante à notre arrivée qui était prévu à 16h, vu qu'il n'y avait personne. Elle était partie chercher son enfant à l'école. Nous avons attendu 2h. Limite c'était de notre faute et c'était à nous de nous excuser. Elle nous dit qu'elle ne peux pas être là H24 d'un ton agacé. Qu'il fallait qu'on l'appelle si on voulait changer de chambre ou pour utiliser le jacuzzi. En gros acceuil pas agréable du tout. Mon conjoint pensait avoir réservé une autre chambre que celle qui nous a été donné. Odeur trop forte de parfum très désagréable et une belle trace blanche sur la housse de couette. Soit disant c'était à cause du repassage. Elle finit par nous donner la chambre qu'on souhaitait. On était content car la chambre était plus agréable et bien décoré. Le dîner à été annulé. Soit disant la serveuse était malade mais je pense que c'est sûrement parce qu'on était les seuls clients. La soirée se passe très bien de notre côté. Au moment de se mettre au lit, je lève la couette et je vois à côté des oreillers du papier toilette utilisé, je fini par demander à mon conjoint si c'était à lui. Il me dit que non. J'en suis à me de demander si les draps sont changés... On a eu froid la nuit alors que je le chauffage était au maximum. Mais ne chauffait pas vraiment. Au moment de descendre les escaliers pour prendre le petit-déjeuner, j'allume la lumière. La gérante éteint la lumière en soupirant, j'ai pas compris vu qu'on allait descendre... Le petit déjeuner se passe dans une atmosphère un peu froide avec la gérante, ce qui rend mal à l'aise. Mais le petit déjeuner reste bien. Bilan, je travaille depuis 10 ans dans l'hôtellerie, et je sais à quelle point c'est un métier difficile donc nous ne sommes pas des clients pénibles mais là nous avons était très déçu par l'attitude de la gérante. La moindre des choses aurait été que la gérante nous prévienne qu'elle ne serait pas là avant 18h et nous donner un maximum d'informations et/ou de s'excuser de ne pas avoir été là à notre arrivée, c'était le minimum. J'ai jamais vu ça. En gros c'est tu prends ta chambre et tu te débrouilles. Si vous cherchez un endroit chaleureux et convivial ou vous voulez discuter avec les propriétaires des lieux. Je vous déconseille très fortement cette auberge.

Chambre dans les combles, (obligé d'être attentif à chaque instant ou de rester penché pour ne pas se cogner) et au dessus des cuisines (bruits de vaisselle, odeurs...). En fait, on est plus fatigué après le séjour qu'à l'arrivée !!! Pour le rapport qualité/prix, il y a moyen de trouver mieux ailleurs. Par contre la région est superbe.
