We stayed for 3 nights here! Check-in was swift since we arrived at the hotel ~5pm. We loved the spacious room with vintage Peranakan decor. The king-bed was so comfortable. Best experience was the bathtub with jacuzzi! After a hot day touring around Penang, a long soak in the tub was very refreshing! The air-conditioner tripped on our last night 😭. Thankfully the ceiling fan was strong enough to keep us cool. The room came with daily breakfasts, and the spread was the same. We ended up only with coffee and croissants and headed out for local foods, since Penang is a food paradise 😝😜! It is great to stay at George Town, as the area has a lot of Michelin-rated eateries. It was easy to Grab to anywhere too!

I love the heritage cultural, wooden style, historical vibe and especially the first time I'm seeing a bathtub with jacuzzi. Fully furnished and also outside have a water dispenser without worrying to look for water. Very convenient place to stay and also walkable to mamak, street food, restaurants and cafe's nearby. Will come back again the next time when I come to Penang again. 🫶🏼👍🏼👍🏼

I was not at all satisfied with this hotel. The smell in the room was catastrophic, there was mold on the walls and ceilings of the bathroom, the jacuzzi did not work and there was dust everywhere. The breakfast was very poor and not very good. I honestly do not recommend this hotel...

The hotel is very nicely decorated, and is quite stylish. However, the beds and sofas are quite uncomfortable. The TV is very old. There is mold and cracks in the wall. The breakfast has limited options and (when we visited) there was not enough food remaining.

Cleanliness was within my expectations anyway. Would consider again

Location is unbeatable and very charming hotel, but the overall quality match well with the price you pay.

The hotel is strategic located, clean though needs some reinstatement works. Breakfast was ok, not big spread.

The service is ok, the hotel staff help us to exchange room when we have informed them the aircon is not cold enough. The 3 bedrooms suite is spacious, we had breakfast at opposite need to cross the road. Overall satisfy.

The room and the service is very good. Area in Georgetown good for city walk. The only need to improve are the breakfast and the hot water. The breakfast is too simple, and the hot water got problem which is in this 2 night I can’t bath with hot water

Location was convenient to visit George Town. Room was cute. Staff was kind and friendly.

Weird smell coming out the bathroom. Very uncomfortable. On the second night was a bit better. Other than that everything is fine. No parking provided. Public parking only

Love this place. Great location! Walked to Penang Road Famous Chendul and shopped around the area. Street parking so must remember to pay. The place is beautiful. We booked the transfer suite with jacuzzi. Loves that they have 2 balconies. Pur room has a creaky floorboard which i though gave character to the room. The drcoration gave a colonial vibe. The garden is nice. Kept us away from the noise from the streets. Breakfast is average. But didnt mind cause Penang is a food heaven. Definitely will repeat

We rented a family suite (3 bedrooms). It is across the street from the hotel. The rooms are minimally furnished (no place to put a bag or a cup in the bedroom). 2 bedrooms are barebones. The bed is comfortable and sheets were smooth. The street noise is very very loud, and placing the living room next to the street is a terrible idea. The suite is so large, why not put it towards the kitchen so the family can gather? Breakfast was okay. They need more waiters since the 2 staff are exhausted from catering to so many people. I probably would not stay there again. I think a premium price for a average stay.
