Đó là một tòa nhà hai tầng nên bạn phải xỏ giày khi vào và mang tất khi đi xuống cầu thang để tránh bị trượt. Không ai có thể nói được tiếng Trung Quốc. Sàn nhà rất sạch sẽ và bạn sẽ không bị bẩn n*** cả khi mang tất trắng. Vị trí là trung bình. Tôi nghĩ sẽ tốt hơn nếu sống xa hơn bên trong vì rất dễ đi lại. Anh ấy ở đây, trong con hẻm. Bạn phải đi bộ khoảng 700 mét để ăn uống và vui chơi, trước cửa chỉ có hai nhà hàng. Tiện nghi trong phòng rất đơn giản phải không? Nó chỉ là một nhà nghỉ chỉ phục vụ bữa sáng. Nhưng, nó khá sạch sẽ. Cá nhân tôi nghĩ tỷ lệ giá/hiệu năng khoảng 200 là phù hợp hơn. Về dịch vụ thì chỉ có một anh chàng dọn dẹp. Cũng không lớn.

The lady day front desk is super helpful and nice , room is totally good decoration, meanwhile there are two cons ; no chill or refrigerator for drinks in such a hot weather condition which is the common weather for whole year at penang, and secondary is the air condition position is too high from the bed, the hotel has tried to add the fan to work with Air condition to chill the room temperature but it didn’t work properly.

It’s my second stay at Spices, a restored heritage shophouse hotel with nine rooms. With complimentary coffee and tea as well as a library, the two lounge areas are a peaceful place to relax and unwind after a day of gallivanting, exploring, and eating your way through Georgetown’s bustling markets. It’s in an ideal central location while also being down a quiet street, so there’s not much noise, even if your room is street side. There is a mosque nearby though, so light sleepers will have an early wake up. Thank you to the friendly staff for accommodating me again.

A cool little hotel near both China & India town. Near to the ferry for Butterworth. Comfortable bed and pleasant staff.

My room is right beside a small alley and freaking MOSQUE nearby that was not visible.. poor sound insulation and I suffered a sleepless night….

Прекрасный отель. Комната маленькая и очень уютная, стильный интерьер с до мелочей продуманными деталями, есть чайник, две чашки, телевизор. В душе напор воды отличный. В плане звукоизоляции шумновато в вечернее время, так как внизу кафе, но ночью, утром и днём всегда тихо. По расположению отлично, в самом центре и пешей доступности от достопримечательностей. Вай фай устойчивое соединение и быстрое. Рекомендую.

This is a funky little hotel amongst the heritage area of George Town, but away from the hussle bussle which suited us fine. It’s easy walking distance to everywhere. The staff were polite and helpful. We did have issues with aircon but it was attended to straight away. The rooms are small but clean and comfortable. We stayed in “Nutmeg”which was up a flight of stairs. The room did not have a fridge but guests are welcome to use the fridge located at reception. The staff were friendly and helpful and if you’re not looking for 5 star but rather mid range, then I would highly recommend this hotel. I’ve read poor reviews but found our stay great!

I am a frequent traveler, and I never had a horrible experience if the word ‘bad’ is not enough, such as my second stay at Spices Hotel Penang. I booked a Deluxe Room, which obviously according to the description is not the smallest room they have since the room space is 19-meter sq, still bigger than the Superior room which is only 17-meter sq. Upon my arrival, I was given a room called "Mint Room" which is totally in a separate building from the main hotel building I used to stay in before (this was never mentioned in the advertisement for the room) And guess what? I did my measurement, and the room was only 3 meters wide and less than 4 meters in length ~which meant less than 12-meter sq including the bathroom, OMG. There was no city view like they said in the description, it was a narrow concrete wall outside the window, complete with the view of an AC outdoor unit. After I came home, I checked on ***********, there is nothing like my room in all of the pictures shared for Deluxe rooms or even for the pictures of the Superior rooms. And as I continued to compare I noticed there is only one picture that matches the concrete wall outside the window complete with the AC outdoor unit like I had, on the Superior room description! Did Spices Hotel give me the wrong room? My bad experience didn't stop there. Please at all costs avoid the rooms in this separate building. There was no such soundproof at all in the room. Our room was on the second level, and at ground level was a Japanese restaurant TONARI. So expect to hear people talking loudly until midnight, and when the restaurant closed, it was just getting worse with the sound of its employees cleaning up and brushing all the utensils. Good luck with a good night's sleep. Then, the no soundproof saga was not ended. During my stay there I could hear the alarm from guests next to my room which was super irritating. Every day starting from 3 am, and just stop ringing until 6 am. Was somebody dead in the next room? Please Spices Hotel, do some soundproof works, your guest needs to take a rest. Also, four of the pillows provided were hard foam and only one extra pillow was soft microfiber. It's not the standard of a hotel room. For 3 nights stay, there was no housekeeping service whatsoever that came and cleaned our room. I had to ask the reception on the first night to come to refill the body shampoo. Even with putting the sign “please clean our room”, nobody came to clean. So we ended up using the same towels throughout our stay. Like I said before, my room was in a different building from the main hotel (Is that the reason for the whole bad experience/service?) which was not mentioned in the ad. Because this was my second stay with Spices Hotel, I can say that this was a completely different experience and out of my expectation of Spices Hotel's good reviews before. This is a terrible experience at this hotel. We have stayed here before. And pre-booked the same room with two children. One baby is breastfeeding. However, on our second check in, our booking was changed. We were given another room where the stairs for the bed to the 2nd floor. And the toilet is downstairs. The number itself is much smaller. When we asked for the room we had bought, we were told that the room was busy. I showed a photo of the room when booking. However, they called me a liar because the hotel staff changed the photos to this room category and were surprised that I had a scan. Carefully. If you value comfort, find another place to stay. That's why there will be problems.
