This hotel is named after a military man called Anibal. The atmosphere is calm and the staff are well organised. Some of the hotel rules are strange. You are almost ordered not to handwash but use a laundry facility. Some clothes you can buy in İstanbul are handwash only and most are no tumble dry. I have had three pairs of jeans and a blouse ruined by 'launderesses ' who didn't read the washing label. The price list quotes prices for silk garments - poor people like me can"t afford silk. The fridge didn't work, the air conditioning unit only worked sometimes, there was no ventilation in the bathroom and there was quite a large leak from under the batı. Anibal rose through the Turkish army to become a General. Generally, this hotel is OK bearing in mind what they charge. This comment was made in September 2022 but there is no knowing what will happen in the future.
