Baltic Gdansk Old Town Suites

We stayed at Baltik Gdańsk for a week as a family of five. The location is fantastic – right in the heart of the city, with St. Mary’s Church quite literally next door and the Old Town within easy walking distance. The apartment had two bedrooms, a sofa bed in the living room, a well-stocked kitchenette, and a washing machine – ideal for a family staying more than just a few days. Tea, coffee capsules, and dishwasher tablets were replenished during the stay, which was appreciated. However, there were a few major drawbacks. The church bells start ringing at 5:00 AM and go off every 30 minutes. On top of that, there was renovation work on the church and loud partying in the nearby streets at night. If you're a light sleeper, bring earplugs. The biggest disappointment was the staff. The woman at the reception who checked us in seemed visibly irritated – and we observed the same behavior toward other guests. We were never greeted with a smile during the entire week, which created a rather cold and unwelcoming atmosphere. In short, the apartment itself is good and the location excellent, but the noise and lack of hospitality significantly affected our stay. With better soundproofing and more friendly service, this could be a top choice.

Superb location in the center of Old Town, we had apartment 16 on the 1st floor, elevator available big plus. modern, clean facility, bedroom with a queen bed and queen convertible sofa in the kitchen annex , washer available, did not use it, used kitchen everyday though, walking distance for breakfast groceries, dinner on the town, walking distance to the river and all the restaurants there. Very friendly and informative staff at the front desk. Could not ask for a better place to stay

We had such a good stay at this place. Amazing staff that was really helpful and friendly. Quick check-in and service, nice clean rooms. Great bang for the buck. Extremely good location, close to everything, train station, old town and attractions in the city.

Abbiamo prenotato un appartamento per tre persone confermato e pagato in anticipo tramite booking, purtroppo lo stesso giorno due ore prima del check in la prenotazione è stata cancellata a causa di “motivi tecnici”. Le soluzioni proposte da booking non erano coerenti con le nostre esigenze. Vi sconsiglio di prenotare questa struttura se non volete avrete sorprese all’ultimo momento. Attendo ancora riscontro ai messaggi inviati all’hotel. Pessimi.
