Grand Hotel Fasano & Villa Principe

This is a special place. Stunning property, meticulously maintained and managed, with genuinely warm service (not universally the case with 5* in Italy). Expensive but you get what you pay for. It’s superb. Only downside is that it’s a historic property and you need to accept - ideally, welcome - its quirks. But the things that matter - plumbing, electrics and HVAC - all work faultlessly.

Недавно отдыхали на вилле семьей , бронировали 2 номера, место очень красивое и природа озера Гарда действительна великолепна! Но!!! случилась ситуация, весьма неприятная, в одном из номеров в шкафу, мы оставили мужскую футболку, мой подарок супругу! Я написала в отель с просьбой ее отдать , мы готовы за ней вернуться! Они ничего не знают и не видели ((( Как так??? Итальянская футболка Hermes, исчезла…. Я прошу их, проверить камеры, кто убирал номер!!??? Тишина… вещь просто украли(((

距離威尼斯機場2個小時車程，湖邊環境優美清凈，酒店有米其林餐廳，老婆很滿意。 整個房間設施中規中矩，在歐洲算是比較新凈。 做了一個SPA，服務還可以。游泳池比較小，整個酒店規模也不大。

Winding down the family Summer holiday was in a perfect spot on Lake Garda at the Grand Hotel Fasano. Great views of the lake and high level customer service. We loved the the dips in the lake as well as the sun beds on the lakefront. The quality of food in all of the hotel restaurants were amazing. Had a few trips to Salò town and to Il Lemone which were breathtaking.

Pros Spectacular view of the Lake, truly breathtaking. Wonderful lounge area around pool and lake, plenty of loungers, fresh towels etc. Pool staff are wonderful, very friendly and they provide guests with complimentary ice-cream, fruit, nuts etc, a lovely touch. Amazing to take a swim in the lake with plenty of easy access. The spa is fantastic, I had 2 massages and both were divine, absolutely heaven. Thank-you to Susi. Breakfast was pretty good, a wide and varied selection but the off menu selection was very poor. Eggs Benedict was one egg on an extremely stale muffin, inedible. Waffles with Nutella was one tiny waffle, and I wasn’t a fan of the French toast which was like cake. The omelette was ok though but I would just stick to the buffet. The croissants and pastries were fantastic. Room cleanliness really great, no complaints. Staff in terrace bar were really professional, courteous and offered prompt service always with a smile. We didn’t eat in the 2 main restaurants just the Magnolia and terrace bar and after a week were bored with the options as we had 2 teenagers with us they weren’t keen on trying the Michelin star restaurant so we went out for evening meals. The terrace bar is fabulous what a view, lovely and quiet with background piano playing. Cons Oh how we wish we had hired a car, you can’t just pop to a shop or a restaurant, you need to walk 15-20 minutes and in searing heat this is not pleasant. Impossible to get a taxi, we tried! The hotel can provide a courtesy car but a 4minute drive to Il Vittoriale will cost you 25 euros ( one way) and a 6min trip to Salò a cool 35 euro ( one way) All in all we enjoyed our first trip to Italy very much. The people are so so lovely and friendly. We’ll be back but will try somewhere closer to a town next time within walking distance.

This hotel is just beautiful, we had two different types of rooms both really nice with breathtaking views of lake Garda. We had a bottle of the Hotel’s sparkling rose and chocolates waiting for us as a welcoming gift, such a nice touch! This is definitely a 5 star hotel! We loved it! Also the hotel is on the quieter side, perfect for relaxation. The Spa is also magnificent, had a massage it was ok, but the facilities amazing! The hotel staff was also very nice. Concierge service was ok. Not really helpful when it came for us asking for dinning options outside the restaurant or any help with activities or things to do around the neighboring towns. It rained on our first day and we were trying to figure out what do or where to go, but got a little frustrated with the lack of help, but we enjoyed the spa. Another tip, if you want to go to any of the neighboring towns you have to book a taxi in advance and you must know where to go. To finish my review this hotel is a must and so so very worth it!

Our family had a most exceptional experience at this stunning hotel on Lake Garda. It wasn't just the delicious food, magnificent vistas, amazing vibe music, sparkingly-clean pools, stellar steam and sauna rooms, and fabulous deck bar....IT WAS ALSO THE PEOPLE THAT WORK THERE THAT CAPTURED OUR HEARTS. The service is so next level that it can hardly be described! The people care so much. From knowing your name, to remembering what you ordered yesterday, to recalling the specific recipe for your favorite drink, to coordinating a doctor visit when you are not feeling well, to helping you get a stain out of your favorite white pants, these people show up in a way that is simply OUTSTANDING! Thank you to the Grand Hotel Fasano team for helping us build spectacular family memories. We are already talking about coming back. With love and gratitude, the Pecellis!

This is a beautiful property with a staff that aims to always please and make your visit great. The check in process was very delayed -we arrived around 3pm and although the rooms were not ready- they said shortly. We had lunch and wine, 1 room became open, but not the room class we paid for - they were kind to move us to a proper class room very quickly which then made we wonder why our other couple had to wait more than 2 hours for theirs to be ready- which ultimately worked out just fine for them. Everything thing else from the concierge- Stefano to the bar server Mateo and the many others we infected with made our visit very nice! - it is a bit over priced - however when I watched to lake front workers constantly cleaning up the pool area and lake side chairs - even picking up after guests who left towels, food, wrappers, cups, garbage and a dirty diaper - they were there w/in 3 min to clean and refresh the space for the next guests - well done!!!

Stayed for a wedding and had an unbelievable experience here. Lots of attention to detail from all the staff and the restaurants are great (lunch was slightly pricey for what it was in the garden restaurant - good food but slightly small portions). The Michelin restaurant well worth the visit. Fantastic experience. You definitely get what you pay for here. Great hotel. Great experience.
