Hotel Bhumzang Gangtok

Bad Experience, Un-professional staff, Food cost are very high, The view from the room is good but the overall services are pathetic. Very understaffed hotel. No designated manager to address your concerns. Very poor hospitality. No coordination among the staff . The housekeeping staff virtually does not exist. Food is average . Overall good infrastructure let down by hospitality services.

Hotel is about 6 KM away from main MG Road, most happening place of Gangtok. View of hills was awesome. Staff was courteous and food is average. You may stay if you want to away hustle bustle of main city. Check in and check out process was smooth. Toiletries was provided and 24 hour hot water is available. Neat and clean hotel

Very nice hotel, we were booked in all mystic properties in Sikkim trip out of which this one was the best. 1. Food service will start at 7.30 am n 7.30pm.which was good ....other hotels served at 8.30-9 which was very late. 2. Good gentle mannered staff and very helpful. 3. Meal was nice....they didn't served deset once but when we ordered (since Food was spicy) we were pleasantly surprised to know desert was not charged to ud. In general great stay ....enjoyed 😀

We stayed in Mystic Bhumzang, Gangtok for a total of 3 nights as part of the package of SOTC. Positives: 1. View from the rooms where we stayed is fantastic as one can see a beautiful view of the valley down below. Best rooms are 405 and 406 facing the valley. 2. The people manning the hotel are very hospitable and helping. When we reached the place from Lachung after traveling nonstop at around 3-4PM, they arranged food at a short notice that too Jain type. 3. Rooms are very clean and linen is fresh. 4. The eating place is excellent and very well maintained with excellent staff. They are able to provide whatever we wanted at short notice. Key point is most of the staff are women and they did a really professional job. Issues: 1. As there are no lifts, it is important to provide rooms on Ground or First Floor to Senior Citizens. 2. The Hotel or the travel company should share the URL link with the visitors .While the address says it is near Lower Helipad, many drivers couldn’t locate the place. It took more than 30 minutes although we were near the Hotel. One reason could be that the display board is not visible from the road. It is bit inside. 3. More than adequate tea .coffee, Milk, Sugar bags with mixing spoon should be provided in the rooms. 4. Room Heaters must be provided as it is very cold .
