Hotel Indigo Gainesville-Celebration Pointe

Hotel is in about 4 miles from the UF campus and football stadium, easy ride away in a quit newly developed shops/recreation/business area. Free parking in parking structure, pleasant and quick check in and out. Our room was nicely modern decorated, clean, no odor. Bedsheets were fresh & comfortable. We had no warm water in the morning for shower, late evening was no issue. A/C was quite loud, person sleeping right next to an a/c vent woke up every time a/c turned on. Bad design. We would come back, just need to check the location of A/C in particular room.

Overall, an amazing hotel. The breakfast was great with reasonable prices. I would definitely recommend staying here! The shopping around the hotel includes multiple brand stores and even a theater. The only issue I faced was that the mattress was really soft. I prefer more orthopedic mattresses but if you don't mind it, go for it! Great stay.

I have stated the hotel several times however this time was not the best experience as I was double charged for my room as well as the deposit for a one night stay that was supposed to be a total of $134 and ended up being almost for $400 and which I had to straighten out with the accounting department to be taken back out of my bank account

Check in was easy, Elizabeth at the front counter was very efficient and courteous. Good location with walkable restaurant choices.

I made a reservation for 3 days six months ago only to find out at 5 PM on the day I tried to check in that the hotel at 9 AM that morning had canceled my reservation without an email or without a call to me letting me know. I was left scrambling to find a room on a busy weekend. I have called the GM of the hotel two times leaving a voice mail each time to please call me to help me understand what happen.

Excellent hotel! Employees were very friendly. Food and drinks were responsibly price and wry good!

This is a trendy and stylish hotel with plenty of Instagrammable seating areas in the lobby, and comfortable guest rooms as well. I had an errand to run in the morning and when I returned their restaurant had just closed. (11am, I believe.) They don't have complimentary breakfast but all I really wanted was a coffee and that wasn't available either. When one of the restaurant staff saw my disappointment at missing a hot coffee, she went back and brewed a pot just for me, at no charge. I was so appreciative of her going above and beyond! I've stayed in quite a few hotels in Gainesville over the years since our daughter is there, and I do feel that many similar hotels have free coffee available in the lobby. I think that a good cup of brewed coffee would be a great addition to the overall experience...Just my opinion. Otherwise, we loved the hotel!

Great hotel with wonderful staff!! Everyone was super friendly and helpful! I don’t recommend the restaurant. I had an egg white omelet with veggies that was swimming in oil and cost $25. The rooms don’t have microwaves which they need to add. Other than that a great place to stay!!!
