Dreimaderlhaus - Das Vegetarische Boutique Hotel

The hotel is located just off a two lane road. It is NOT in the town of Fussen but not far either. That is actually a good thing as parking in Fussen is difficult. The hotel has an unassuming look from the street and I was worry that it was not going to be too memorable. But looks can be deceiving. Hotel staff were terrific and helpful. Very wood interior. No elevators but they did help bring our luggage to the room. Each room is different. We decided to go with what they referred to as "the apar**ent". It was an extremely large hotel room that really could have been used as an apar**ent. It was on the upper floor with a large balcony facing a beautiful park and lake with an outstanding view of some of the Alps. There was a very large living room and TV (no English language though). A historic looking ceramic heater. A full kitchen with all utensils. A large nook for dining. Very large master bedroom. There is another bedroom that can sleep about 4 with skylights. Noise from the road was not a problem. Very clean and all that is needed for a good trip. Just one bathroom but more than adequate. Next door is a pizza restaurant which was very good. Hotel breakfast was very good as was the service. Parking is more than adequate to accomodate the number of guests. Overall, the hotel was extremely comfortable. Provided you have a car, this hotel is centrally located to all three castles of King Ludwig. Unbelievably picturesque alpine area. You will not be sorry. While we were there it snowed and sometimes heavily. I was concerned about driving but the lady staffing the desk looked at my car and said that it has the German regulated snow tires (they change tires at certain times of the year), it was a heavy car MB GLC, and had four wheel drive. She also noted that Germans know how to drive in the snow so not to worry. For both here and the Black forest it continued to snow and I will say I was extremely impressed how well the Germans keep their roads plowed and salted. And, yes, they do know how to drive in the snow. So what started as a big negative in driving turned out a big positive as the countryside/mountains were stunningly beautiful in snow! The location is also close to several smaller touristic towns but the castles are the highlight.

An amazing location situated on lake Weissensee with incredible views of the Alps. They offer both vegan and vegetarian options for breakfast. Vegan breakfast options include a variety of German bread, marmalade spreads, nut butter, fresh fruit, coconut yogurt, cakes, juice, and coffee. We stayed in the penthouse suite, which offers apar**ent style living with a kitchen, 2 bedrooms, living room, and large balcony overlooking the lake with breathtaking sunrise views. The accommodations were excellent and very comfortable. The location is very close to multiple castles and trails with many hiking and biking opportunities.

The hotel is very nice overall. Despite not having a large number of rooms, they make it very comfortable for the guests with lots of nice common areas both inside and outside. The proprietors are very helpful and friendly (and speak English well). The location is wonderful being 2 minutes walking from the Weisensee and the various hiking trails. Bed was comfortable and it's very quiet after dark. Breakfast was really nice with so many homemade items. We appreciated everything being vegetarian! We will definitely stay here again.

We stayed in a huge 6 room apar**ent with a huge balcony over looking a beautiful lake. The lake was surrounded by mountains. It was so relaxing to stay there after being in small hotel rooms. We also enjoyed cooking in the kitchen.

A really fabulous few days away with our family in one of the most beautiful settings. This hotel and accommodation was perfect for our needs, really lovely living room and well stocked kitchen (we chose the self catering apar**ent) and right next to the beautiful town of Fussen. Everything from the staff, to the accommodation to the setting were faultless and I couldn’t recommend staying here enough. We’re already planning a return next year

The vegetarian breakfast was perfect, huge variety of good quality food even with homemade desert. The staff was lovely and helpful. For me who sleeps on his side the bed was too hard but otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

The hotel is very beautiful, located in front of the lake Weissensee. Breakfast was delicious with many local vegan options. Room was cozy and clean, with a big balcony with a nice view to the lake. Staff very friendly and helped us with everything we needed. Only negative point is they turn off WIFI everynight from 10:30pm to 6am which is very inconvenient for preparing trip for the next day.

This is a perfect hotel. Everything was beautifully clean, everyone was so friendly. The breakfasts were delicious- and the little gestures like the afternoon coffee/tea make the stay perfect. This was our second stay here and will not be the last. Tip: always take one of the lakeside rooms!

Great stay with a baby at the top floor flat with the kitchen. We had great views to marvel at throughout a day. Although the hotel is situate on the main road, we heard no noise at all. The staff was very helpful organizing us a high chair and a baby cot for the little one. We also enyjoyed breakfast to the room.
