I do like this hotel because of the price and location. The pool is good and the view is amazing. Unfortunately my room was on 2nd floor and the main front door to the building start making noise very early morning, while people start walking, it's badly effects sleeping. Also the breakfast for 10 EUR could be more improved by choices and for 3 times I have been eating it I never had it warm, always cold.

L’hôtel est bien situé, juste en face un forum où vous pouvez y faire votre shopping ainsi que manger. Le personnels sont très souriant super agréable, le petit déjeuner assez cher 15€ par personne mais très bon, le paysage est juste extraordinaire Je recommande cet hôtel vraiment rien à dire

This review is about hotel restaurant waiters. Every dinner we were served with the utmost respect, reverence and joy. We would like to say a big thank you to these people who looked after us all week. Because they managed to put a smile on our faces every night. They are people who do their work with joy and love, which they pass on to others.

#### Location and Surroundings Hotel Duas Torres is situated in a quiet location at the end of the hotel street, offering guests a relaxing environment. During our visit, the hotel was undergoing renovations to modernize it, but this did not disturb our stay. #### Rooms and Views The rooms are very spacious and clean. From our room, we had stunning views of the Atlantic, which made the stay especially pleasant. The sea view was definitely one of the hotel's best features. #### Service The service was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The staff did everything they could to ensure guests felt welcome and comfortable. #### Breakfast The hotel's breakfast was varied and plentiful. A special mention goes to the sparkling wine and excellent fruits offered at breakfast, which added a touch of luxury to our mornings. #### Pool Area and Seawater Pools The hotel's pool area is relatively small, but this is compensated by the paid seawater pools located below the hotel. The seawater pools provide a great opportunity to relax and enjoy the sun, making the days enjoyable for beach lovers. #### Summary Hotel Duas Torres is an excellent choice in Madeira, offering great conditions for a relaxing holiday. The rooms, service, breakfast, and views make for a memorable stay, and the seawater pools provide an extra touch of relaxation. Highly recommended!

I had prepaid reservation for five nights based on traveler reviews. However; when I showed up, I was informed that I should instead proceed to a different hotel that they had picked. The only information I got was that the hotel was full and they were expecting me at the other hotel. I have several problems with the way this handled. First the hotel clearly knew they were moving me to a different hotel before I arrived but made no attempt to let me know in advance. Secondly, they did not give me an option to get a refund and let me choose hotel to my liking. Finally, there was apology offered or any other consideration provided. I am staying away from Duas Torres

At first when arrived hotel did not have a room for us even if it was booked and confirmed multiple months ago. Explanation was - overbooked due to technical issues. We were sent to another hotel across the street for 1 night. Hotel called taxi and arranged taxi back to Duas Torres too. Issues started when we got in our room. It was on the 1st floor with a view to a restaurants roof. On that roof construction workers were doing some maintenance. They were right outside our window leaving no privacy for us unless the curtains were completely closed. Besides no privacy there was constant noise starting from 8am ending around 6pm every day. On last day on top of noise it started to smell - they were either painting or gluing something. Hotel had no rooms to relocate us to and they only could offer free breakfast on last morning of the stay. Knowing type of work was going to happen and rooms location they should not put us in that room at all. Overall worst hotel experience since ever.

Staff friendly & accommodating. Cleaning efficient/trustworthy. Bedding comfortable. Kitchenette acceptable. Breakfast buffet O Classico Restaurant connected to hotel - fresh & delicious. Location - A+. Rooms offer full or side ocean view. Easy access to seaside promenade. The Forum shopping mall right across street; bus stop (bus #1 or #2 - 15 minute to downtown Funchal) directly in front of hotel. Welcoming pool area - drinks/food served at pool’s cafe/bar. Duas Torres’s prices competitive with nearby hotels; O Classico menu on high side, but food/service is outstanding. Definitely will return.

On my first ever trip to the beautiful island of Madeira,I spent a week in November(17/11 - 24/11/23) at Hotel Duas Torres. Thoroughly enjoyable & relaxing- a week of Winter sunshine with temps in the mid 20's all week. I would highly recommend Hotel Duas - the hotel staff are very friendly,efficient and very customer service orientated.I had some initial difficulty with operating the electric hob in the apartment & this was sorted within minutes.On the penultimate day,prior to departure it was neccessary to print out our airline boarding cards & the hotel reception staff were extremely helpful & considerate when I was experiencing difficulties in this regard.There was one particular gentleman who worked a late night shift at reception & his Customer Service skills were gold star/world class - the very best I have ever experienced & a marvellous human asset to this hotel. This hotel is spotlessly clean & well managed.Fabulous large, furnished sun terrace to the rear with swimming pool/plunge pool with pool bar all overlooking the Atlantic Ocean.Shopping centre/supermarket across the road,good supply of small restaurants nearby & bus services to the centre(10mins to the centre) directly outside the front door. Based on hotel location/facilities/overall standards & in particular to the exceptionally good Customer Service standards by the hotel staff - I rate this hotel as a well deserved 5 stars !!

We booked this as just a cheap alternative, we were just in Madeira to sort out paperwork for getting married here later this year. I have to say, the Duas Torres was way better than we thought it would be. Room is big and spacious, we were on the 11th floor so had great views. Aircon worked well, comfy bed. The staff were all great and helpful. Pool was nice, and great location for us. Only negatives were... Bathroom smelt the whole time we were there, it seems to be a fairly common issue here as far as I can tell. 2 lifts, but only 1 is for guest use!?!? No idea why, but can make waiting for a lift painfully slow. Other than that, great hotel for the price!

Pros: Location, decent sized room with kitchenette, price, bus stop right in front of hotel, shopping center across the way with a grocery store, pool. Cons: Room was not ready by 2pm and we had to wait half an hour and missed a welcome meal for the wedding we were there to attend. Miriam was very rude and did not even apologize. We did arrive before check in time so put our stuff away and understood we had to wait till 2pm and when I asked her when the room would be ready she said “whenever house keeping is done”….your poor time managing skills is not my fault. We asked her to have Paulo the manager call us when he was available and of course that never happened. Bathroom smelled bad…it got more noticeable as the time went on. The towels were really rough but the pool towels were decent quality (only replace these once a week so don’t chuck them…they don’t tell you at check in but it’s in the welcome packet in the room). No toaster unless you rent it…same as the safe. The brochure mentioned they had items like toothpaste (we assumed for purchase) but when we asked we are laughed at and told no. We also did not want housekeeping to waste their time cleaning up our rooms so we usually always put do not disturb and try to save them time but the one thing we wanted was a fresh bottle of water which apparently they only do if you have them make your room each day. The walls are thin and you can hear everything…including people using the bathroom. The bed is not comfortable but it’s not the worst either when you have been super exhausted and just want to sleep. As we were leaving our transfer that was picking up got a validated ticket to exit and it wasn’t working…it took him almost 10 minutes of dealing with Miriam again to get the gate to open and while I wasn’t there to hear what transpired I do know that the driver was as unhappy and said she was rude. All in all if you want a cheap room and don’t mind the moldy smell and lack of customer service then this would be the place for you. We were hoping this would have been a much better experience as we will now be visiting much more frequently and prefer to stay at the same hotel. But instead we were so displeased that I actually took the time to write my first review ever on TripAdvisor.

Nice place with nice view by the window. Very good food but breakfast is the same every single day, small amount of vegetables. Friendly service, very helpful. Poor cleaning (wrong number of towels when changing, beds porly made, no vacuuming), but If you leave the tip, cleaning is much more better ;-)
