Quick check in service and were taken by a “bellboy” to our room (showed us what all ins and outs of the cabin). Nice pool, always hard to find a chair in the busy hours and extremely packed. Pool for adults was a wonderful break from the masses of the pool at the top. Entertainment mainly French but seemed good. Panoramic restaurant: food ok, service good, great view for the fireworks. La Paillote restaurant overpriced in my opinion. Food good. 9 euro for a glass of wine which costs 30 for a bottle in the store. Cabin: stayed in the Bali home and nicely set up. Good location for teens. My compliments to the life guards-wow; very vigilant. Can’t really fault this camping Remember 5 star camping for not mean 5 star quality but means a camping has all the amenities as stated by the various camping boards

Lovely campsite, spotlessly clean. Staff very helpful and friendly. The pool was a little chilly as it’s not heated but very enjoyable all the same. Plenty of available sunbeds around the pool. We ate in the Panoramique restaurant one night and it was good enough. A very hilly site so not ideal for people with mobility problems. There’s a communal bbq area where we did our own bbq on two nights. Evening entertainment was good with bingo, quiz and mini disco. The children loved that they could hop on and off the shuttle bus that drives around the camp bringing people to different areas. All in all I’d recommend this campsite, and the views from the hill are just beautiful!

This is a superb campsite! We are still here but had to review already! First shout out to the staff in all areas! Honestly one of the friendliest campsites we have been to! With a family with some disabilities we were quite sceptical hearing so much about the hills! However there is a wee shuttle that goes round every 5 mins! The drivers of the shuttle are super friendly and helped out whenever they could! Pool is strict with food and drinks at poolside, however this makes it so clean! Bar/restaurant is just above looking over! The surroundings of the campsite are gorgeous too! Kids entertainment is great - again animation team very friendly! I’ve read reviews about road noise being off putting - we are in a caravan and hasn’t annoyed us at all! Will definitely like to return!

Our family arrived at Domaine du Colombier on the 28th of June with high expectations, ready to enjoy a relaxing holiday by the pool and exploring the beautiful Côte d’Azur. Unfortunately, our experience has been marred by an unexpected and uncomfortable situation regarding the swimwear policy at the campsite. Since our arrival, we have been enjoying the pool almost daily. The pool area is beautiful and well-maintained, providing a great place to unwind. However, today, July 2nd, I was abruptly asked to leave the pool because my swimwear did not comply with their regulations. The swimwear in question is what I have been wearing every single time I have entered the pool since we arrived, with no prior issues or warnings from the staff. To be told, several days into our stay, that I cannot return to the pool without changing into specific swimwear (which I feel very uncomfortable wearing) was both surprising and disappointing. When booking our stay, there was no mention of this selective swimwear policy. Had this information been clearly stated, we would have chosen a different campsite, as personal comfort and enjoyment are paramount during our family vacations. Upon arrival, we were also disappointed to find our caravan squeezed in between three other caravans, end to end, with a wall on one side and bushes on the other. It feels cramped and strange having to walk off a path onto a stone path and then through dust and soil to get to our caravan. With that being said, the caravan itself is nice and big, providing ample space for our family. The interior is well-maintained, clean, and comfortable, which has made our stay more bearable despite the cramped exterior surroundings. Our teens have enjoyed the various entertainment options available, which have helped keep them engaged and happy during our stay. The facilities are generally excellent, and the camping pitches and accommodation are well-kept, offering a pleasant environment for guests. The on-site amenities, including the spa, balneo area, and various sports activities, are impressive and cater to a wide range of interests. The location is another highlight. Nestled between Cannes and Saint-Tropez, the campsite offers easy access to some of the most picturesque and exciting destinations along the Côte d’Azur. We have had some wonderful day trips exploring nearby towns, beaches, and attractions, which has been a delightful part of our holiday. However, the enjoyment of our stay has been significantly overshadowed by the pool incident. The enforcement of the swimwear policy in such an abrupt manner, after several days without issue, has left a sour taste. It is crucial for such policies to be communicated clearly and consistently to avoid any discomfort or inconvenience to guests. In conclusion, while Domaine du Colombier has many positive attributes, the mishandling of the swimwear policy has severely impacted our experience. We value transparency and clear communication, especially r

We moved to this site after spending eight days at Les Tournels and we were so disappointed. First the positive parts, the staff are very friendly and helpful one member giving my little boys a tour on the shuttle bus which they loved. The mini disco was a huge hit with all 3 children. The pool area was spotlessly clean and the slides were great fun, we couldn’t fault the actual amenities on site. However, all pitches for motorhomes and caravans are right beside a main road. We are not light sleepers but honestly came away from this holiday exhausted. We couldn’t wait to leave for a decent night’s sleep. Our other major issue with this site was that the roads outside made it almost impossible to cycle anywhere, which was such a shame as we love to cycle out to explore beaches and things. We unfortunately wouldn’t recommend this Yelloh village even though we have loved every other one we have stayed at.

Well kept clean site but way too noisy music at pool and not well laid out campsite. This site is only for the fit and able as it is very hilly. There is a little shuttle that runs around but if it is full (often at peak times) you will end up walking. The lagoon pool is great for kids but at busy times impossible to actually swim even a stroke. My daughter loved the slides. But two seriously annoying negatives. 1. The music is WAY too loud. At times I couldn’t hear my own music in my ears. So unnecessary. 2. There at sharp little red stones in every flowerbed. These are scattered throughout the pool footpaths and very painful to walk on with no shoes. Kids run around pool areas and my daughter had three really sore cuts. Nb. None of the pools seemed heated as all very cold even in August. In contrast the adult pool is absolutely gorgeous. Annoyingly you have to pay extra to go in (a bit greedy in my opinion) but it’s a really good pool and slightly heated and delightful. Study the layout of the site pre booking. If you have kids younger than 11 ish you will discover that at night time it’s really difficult as the bar area is no where near to the playground or games room and not a safe walk for small kids to get there. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and the mini disco was really good for the kids - the tall chap deserves a medal for doing the same thing every night! However. The evening entertainment after the mini disco was SO loud. We had a cottage at the bottom of the hill and it was like we were sat next to it until 11pm every night. None of us could get to sleep. Don’t come here if you like quiet evenings. Overall not a bad site, just a bit hard work!

The good: Its a beautiful campsite, full of massive pine trees and gorgeous flowers. Staff are really friendly and pools are excellent. The kids had a blast on the waterslides (as did I!). There's an additional pool/spa just for adults. Check if it's part of your package otherwise you must pay to enter. It's fantastic... if you can get time away from kids. It's a 5-10 min drive from Frejus and set in the middle of Cote D'Azur so neighbouring towns such as St Tropez are very accessible. Our cottage looked new and everything worked perfectly. There is a shuttle bus constantly running that will bring you anywhere in the campsite. The Bad: Music at the pool is waaaay too loud ... at times it's like being at a nightclub. We moved back from the pool/speakers but it's still off-putting if you are trying to relax. The Ugly: The food in the restaurant isn't great and it's very overpriced for what you get. This forced us into eating in the nearby villages ... which was great. You have to pay €20 to use the paddle court!

This review is perhaps slightly premature as we’re still here on holiday, but we’re having such a fantastic time I thought I would write it now! This is our third trip to Frejus, the last being in 2017. We had previously driven past Club du Colombier from our previous accommodation and thought it looked very nice. We are staying in one of the Yelloh Village chalets. The quality of everything is excellent - the accommodation is of a very high standard in particular. We have loved visiting Eurocamp sites in the past, but this is a definite step up. The site is incredibly clean, the staff are lovely, welcoming and very helpful. The local area is incredible too. Coming from the UK it is lovely to swim in the warm seas and local lakes - a visit to Lac du St Cassien is a must for any water sports enthusiasts. We will definitely be coming back - and I’m very jealous of anyone coming here later in the summer!
