Hotelin konumu ve personel yaklaşımı çok iyiydi. Kahvaltısı da ***et yeterli ve odanıza giriş yapmadan önce eşyalarınızı bırakabileceğiniz bir oda mevcut.

Sehr gute Lage Nähe Münster und Altstadt. Moderne Zimmer mit gutem Bett, Bad mit Regendusche, Klimaanlage.
Leider geht die Kostenbremse des Managements deutlich zu Lasten der Gäste:
1. Die tagsüber funktionierende Aircon wird nachts heruntergefahren - also genau dann, wenn man sie benötigt! Der Rezeption ist dies offensichtlich bekannt und wird ohne Bedauern mit einem Achselzucken zur Kenntnis genommen.
2. In einem Haus, das inkl. Parken fast € 200/Nacht verlangt, sollte ein angemessenes Qualitäts-Frühstück mit einigen "Extras" verpflichtend sein. Hier sieht das Frühstück auf den ersten Blick zwar gut organisiert aus, ist aber leider 3* Standard. Die Warmgerichte (z.B. Rührei, Speck, Würste, Pancakes etc.) sind qualitativ schlicht und bereits um 8:30 Uhr kalt. Ebenso schlicht sind Auswahl und Qualität von Wurst, Käse und Obst. Den recht ordentlichen Kaffee zieht man sich selbst aus dem Automaten.

The reason for my visit to Freiburg was for the Christmas Market and to see Ravenna Gorge. The hotel was in a good location very close to the Munster and markets. The breakfast, staff and dining area were all very pleasant. It's a nice clean hotel close to shopping too. I would give this hotel 5 stars plus for their staff. When I checked out, I had forgotten my phone and I didn't realize it until I was getting ready to board my train to Baden Baden. A quick call to the hotel revealed they found my phone in my room and turned it in to the desk. I found them to be remarkably trustworthy. It was a great stay in the lovely city of Freiburg!

Clean and lots of shopping and eating choices near by. Walking distance to everything. I will stay again.

Beds / mattresses are incredibly hard / uncomfortable- so lack of sleep my main issue. Bar / restaurant very limited opening hours and food choice. Carpets threadbare in many common areas. Only thing going for it is proximity to Freiburgs old town

The hotel is extremely poor and old, the beds are small and the pillows are so poor and old. I would never recommend any of the Mercure Hotel to anyone and will never book at their hotels myself either!

Good walkable locations, breakfast is excellent, front desk staffs were great and helpful.
Housekeeper aren’t polite nor helpful.
