The "24-hour front desk" is a lie. There is no one on site. I needed to call to get them to give me a code to get in, and when it ended up there were no towels and the heater wouldn't turn on (it was very cold at that time), the best they could do was move me to a different (and much smaller but no refund) room. Note they use disposable towels and disposable sheets. This is a real budget operation. Although I booked for three nights, they gave me a door code only good for one night until I pointed it out to them. And then after the second night sent me a message saying I had to be out by noon. They are very disorganized.
The location was about 45 minutes away from the main tourist area by bus, though there is a mall nearby. As is common in China, they are just renting out random apartments in a large condominium complex, as are several other companies with staffed desks in the building. But this company doesn't have a local desk.
