Staff was very helpful and efficient! The room and bathroom were very clean and tidy. The room lacked a coffee machine, which would have been nice considering the office was closed in the morning and that's where we got coffee when we checked in the afternoon before. The grounds were kept clean however there was a good bit of clutter around which almost made me think it was an apartment complex rather than a motel. The walls are paper thin so bring ear plugs if you're a light sleeper! Luckily the construction across the street didn't start until 7am. I'm also glad I brought an eye mask because the light in our closet had no way of turning off and a lot of light from surrounding buildings entered the room. Bed was clean, extremely firm mattress but we go a decent nights sleep. Overall, we would stay here again if we were in the area because everything else nearby was just too expensive!

The customer service was excellent, very friendly and Wendy helped us a lot for the check in, however we found the room a little dirty and with many mini cokroaches.

This is the fifth time I’ve stayed at the Drift. It used to be a very nice, clean place. It is now run down and roach infested. I will not stay there again

I wanted to like this place, but ended up a bad decision. Walls are paper thin, I could hear my side neighbors talking quite clearly and my upper neighbors seemed to be training horses to jump on trampolines. There's no peephole or windows to look out front to the courtyard to see who's knocking on your door. Soda vending machine was setup to take cards, but wouldn't dispense. Water was out of stock and 7-Up simply didn't work, at least for me. There's no alternative seating in the room aside from the bed, The shower sliding door was out of alignment and could only close a few inches. The bed was very firm, much more than I prefer.

It's a great location to beach, shopping and bars. Good place to stay if you really just need a place to stay for a night or two, no frills, nice court yard. Limited parking so we had to pay for garage parking.

The price, parking and proximity to the beach are this hotel’s selling points. On the negative side is the front office (total mess), high rises and construction around it and overall lack of upkeep. Place is dark and looks worn down. Could be a really cute little place but as it is, it’s a downer to come home to at the end of the day

Property manager was amazing in helping us get checked in early since we staying there after our Cruise and had no place to go so early in the morning. He helped clean the room and get it set up for us. Beautiful scenery around hotel and everything was walkable from hotel. Very convenient location and awesome staff!! Will stay here again in the future

This is an excellent stay for the price - clean, convenient, close to beautiful spots, yet quiet. For those who are looking for a reasonably priced room for a good night’s sleep and shower, this is a sure bet.

Not good service at check in or out. Staff was indifferent but not rude. The hotel was convenient to the beach and all the dining options. The room was fine. The only complaint is that the wifi was sketchy so the tv kept going in and out. Otherwise, it was what my family needed. The housekeeper was friendly and allowed us to stay in the room for an extra hour while we waited for transportation to our next stop.
