Hotel Parco Delle Agavi

Hotel was ok, reception and bar teams were very attentive and helpful. Rooms are a little basic and we had no hot water in bathroom. However once reported this was fixed very quickly. We ate in the restaurant on our last night which unfortunately was not a good experience. As someone else has reported in their review, the appetizers appeared to be reheated from the event the night before. The starters and main courses were only just edible so I would not recommend the restaurant. Hotel definitely needs some TLC but I couldn’t fault the friendliness and helpfulness of the staff.

We loved our stay at this hotel, the staff (except one) were extremely friendly, the food was delicious. We did a few excursions, the most memorable being Poseidon Thermal gardens, La Mortella gardens and Ravino (cactus gardens). Rooms at Agavi were on the small side, and the hotel was delightfully dated. But that didn’t worry us, the food and the staff were excellent. We and some other guests did have an issue with the pool/maintenance man who clearly missed the training on customer care! Heaven forbid if you try to put up a pool parasol or don’t wear your swimming cap, you will suffer his wrath. We thank all the other staff (reception, restaurant, shuttle driver) for being so helpful, friendly and professional.

We have just come back from a holiday at the Agavi hotel and had a lovely time, even in the heatwave! We stayed for 5 nights on a half board basis with two teenagers. The staff were friendly and the rooms are clean. It is a lovely, traditional, family hotel, which is what we wanted. The clientele are mostly returning families. The pool was a good size, and yes, you do have to wear a fabric swimming cap - but you do when you go to the Poseidon Spa too. You can buy them at reception for 3 euros each in different colours. Breakfast is a buffet with scrambled eggs, boiled eggs and bacon along with the normal fruits, cereals, breads, cheeses, meats and cakes. Dinner is a choice from a set menu (picked in the morning at breakfast) and delicious. The appetiser is a buffet, then you have a starter, main and then dessert. It is really good value for money. The hotel is in a good location and not too far from the beach. There is a free shuttle bus that runs throughout the day that needs to be booked in advance. The bus stop is practically outside the hotel and there is a small supermarket just up from the hotel that sells everything (handy when you need more sun cream). Our rooms had everything we needed. The decor is dated but if it's not broken why change it in the name of fashion? The hotel takes cash and cards and all drinks, lunch, etc are added to your room bill. I paid my room bill halfway through my stay to help me keep track of my budget. There is a room tax that you do have to pay for all adults, in all of the hotels, and we paid ours at the start of our holiday so it was out of the way and we could forget about it. We really enjoyed our stay and the staff were really helpful. I would love to go back to the Agavi but would definitely stay longer as the island has so much to offer.

We spent one week at this hotel and had a brilliant time . The rooms are basic but very clean with everything you need. The grounds & pool are beautiful with plenty of space and lots of different areas in which you can sit in the shade. We were half board and the food is amazing . The restaurant staff were so kind and helpful as well as really professional . The spa treatments were great and really good value. The hotel is a short walk to forio which is a beautiful port snd the hotel does offer a shuttle . We would come back , Thank you for a great holiday !

Great hotel to stay at with family. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Reservations were easy to make and modify, Reaching out to the staff was easy and they were very responsive. Thank you all for the great service, especially Silvia :)

We had a great at Hotel Parco delle Agavi. All of the staff were really helpful and provided a lot of useful information about trips and things to do in the area. We booked through a Voyage Prive package and had various day trips including transfers to and from the hotel each day, everything went smoothly and we saw lots of beautiful places. The hotel is a short walk to Forio. The food in the hotel is good and there was a variety of dishes to select from each day.
