Lady Maria Hotel Wellness & Resort

We arrived late afternoon to find a very professional receptionist greeting us and while we did the check in, he helped us with information about the hotel and breakfast timings. The room was lovely and of a good size, with a lovely en-suite bathroom and a window that overlooked the village. The decor and bed were very good. There was everything one needs to have a relaxing holiday. We had dinner at the hotel, which was lovely and the staff was very professional and friendly. The service was impeccable. Unfortunately we don’t manage to go to the swimming pool that, from the photos, looked amazing. Breakfast was lovely and there was lots of choice. I would definitely reccomend this hotel to anyone that is looking for a cozy and relaxing stay.

I really enjoyed my time here at the Lady Maria. The food was lovely, especially the salads. The room was warm and cosy, as the weather was warm for most of the time. I wasn't so keen on my pillows, but that's a personal thing. Walter is very friendly and attentive.

SUMMER IN THE ITALIAN SUD TIROL AND DOLOMITES. (Leger Holidays). Worst ever "holiday " in 34 years on Leger coach, cruise and battlefields tours 16 HOURS journey from overnight hotel in Belgium to hovel (no mis-spelling)in Italy. The "Lady Maria " hovel in Fondo is a joke, ran by Basilio (Fawlty). Terrible accommodation, inedible food and closes the bar between 9 and half 9 every night without warning, just turns the lights out, pulls together and locks the sliding doors and leaves people in the lounge watching the staff go home one by one?! The draught lager (Menabrea)started the week at 4 euros, then went to 5 euros and then ran out on day 5 ?! We were then advised that we could have a Coke sized lukewarm can of "Forst " for 3.50 euros?! The only decent meals I had in 9 days were the meals on the outbound and inbound ferries apart from the ones we paid for on excursions, Venice, Bolzano etc. Another 16 HOUR day trip to Venice by the way...... On our last morning at the hovel before embarking on another 16 HOUR journey back to the overnight hotel in Belgium, Basilio boarded our coach and entered into a bizarre speech about us now being like his "family "?! If I'd have treated my family like this clown did for a week, I'd have expected to have been disowned !! On the back of last year's holiday to Croatia, the best coach holiday we've ever had with Leger, we were forced to endure this debacle. The worst and definitely last time that I will ever book with Leger. P.S. The driving team of Andrei and Petra were good, providing useful, clear and concise information re places visited, pick-up points at excursions etc., although no headphones or on board map screens available as we've previously had on Silver Service and as advertised on Leger website. Now off to get some leeches for the bedsores on my backside due to sitting on a bus for days......

BRAVI BRAVI BRAVI. Niente altro da aggiungere. Tutto perfetto dalla pulizia alla gentilezza del personale alla qualità del cibo servito. Bellissimo hotel ristrutturato da poco in stile montano. Camere bellissime. Piscina stupenda. Zona wellness più datata ma comunque dotata di tutto l'essenziale: sauna, bagno turco, percorso kneipp, docce emozionali. Piccola e accogliente zona relax. Un plauso particolare ad Asia, la ragazza che lavora alla spa, che ci ha fatto due fantastici e rilassanti massaggi. Continuate così! Super consigliato

On the positive side: the recent renovations bring the hotel into the 21st century, the facilities were decent there was ample parking and the hotel was clean. On the negative side: - the wellness center did not live up to expectations and the hydro massage in particular had a very unpleasant odour (presumably due to an absence of the required chlorine dosage) - charging €10 per night for a 1 year old - when you order and pay for a real Coca Cola then you can reasonably expect to receive the real thing. Not so here as evidenced by the second rate cola brand we were served. - the pressure to choose your dinner while having breakfast is neither appropriate nor appreciated - the actual quality of the dinner leaves a lot to be desired - the shower heads in the bathroom were loose / broken and water seeped out of the shower at multiple points - the beds were not comfortable - the keycards are very tacky; just white plastic with the room # written in marker

L’hotel è molto grazioso, io ho prenotato una wellness suite… confortevole e nuova ma.. pensandoci ora … prezzo troppo alto! si tratta di un hotel a Fondo 3 stelle…avrei gradito più calore, accoglienza ed attenzione al cliente! Più sorrisi e gentilezza … Cibo, consiglierei vivamente di rivederlo… Altrimenti il prezzo non è giustificato!
