This was the final stop for us on a multi-island trip and we couldn't have picked a lovelier spot to treat ourselves. From the off, service was great - before we arrived the staff were in touch, offering a complimentary shuttle service to the hotel from the ferry (which we also had at the end of our stay). On arrival, we were greeted with refreshing drinks and a quick tour of the main communal areas, before being shown to our room. The room was, frankly, enormous - we suspect in a previous life this hotel was self-catered rooms because we had a living area, a dining area, and a kitchenette, as well as a huge bed, and a spacious marble bathroom. On top of that, a huge balcony with a dining table and a couch. Everything was very clean and tidy, and each evening the cleaner would come around to check we had everything. The pool was a large, seawater pool with comfortable beds and gorgeous views over the harbour and Karavostasis. The bar and breakfast area was comfortable and well-maintained, and a really nice spot to sit throughout the day. The breakfast consisted of a to-order hot item from the menu, and a continental buffet. Everything was absolutely delicious, in particular the cinnamon rolls and the poached egg and avocado. Karavostasis is a short, 5 minute walk, where there are a number of bars, cafes and restaurants, and a few supermarkets. We were able to get a quick bus from here into the main town of Chora, which was super easy to navigate, with clear timetables and pricing. I had a deep tissue massage with Touma in the spa, who was friendly, gracious and clearly knows his stuff - he discovered (and managed to reduce) stress knots I didn't know I had! The steam room was spacious and comfortable, too. Everyone in this hotel was friendly, approachable, gracious and happy to chat, but without being invasive - we felt attended to, but not smothered. It really was a gorgeous hotel and I wish we could have stayed longer!
