The host was so welcoming. He and his wife made us feel right at home. We immediately felt comfortable and like we weren’t just guests in their home but long time friends. Their hospitality was so appreciated. And the home made breads, yogurt, and preserves didn’t hurt either!! 😉 Highly recommend!

We thoroughly enjoyed our all too brief stay in this delightful hotel. Jen Marie and Martine were certainly the hosts with the most warm of welcomes. Our meals were taken in the company of other guests and featured a host of home made and local dishes. All were delicious! Wholehearted recommendation from us!

Jean-Marie and his wife Martine were the perfect hosts. When there were no other guests, they ate with us in the evenings. Idyllic place, complete with a swimming pool set amidst wonderful countryside. They really went the extra mile for us - including our little Labrador Luna. Would definitely recommend staying there.

A wonderful place for re-connecting with nature, sightseeing and a lot of good food! Jean Marie and Martine are the most welcoming and attentive hosts, their house is a perfect example of charming local architecture and the home made meals served for breakfast and dinner are absolutely delicious!

Martine et Jean-Marie ont le sens de l'accueil, avec une grande sincérité. Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cet endroit magnifique, chambre impeccable, petits déjeuners excellents, gateaux et yourts maison. Le diner pris avec nos hôtes fut convivial et gourmand. Martine cuisine fort bien les produits du terroir et s'est adaptée à nos goûts et régimes ! Merci à tous les deux pour cette belle rencontre, nous recommandons vivement cette adresse.

We hebben een week bij Les Terasses de Gaumier in kamer Lou Cantou gelogeerd. We zijn heel hartelijk verzorgd door Jean Marie en Martine. Iedere ochtend een heerlijk ontbijt waarvoor Martine iedere dag weer iets anders uit de keuken toverde. Eigen gemaakte jams, producten uit de omgeving en uit de tuin. De kamer was heel ruim met een prima badkamer. Omdat we een week bleven hebben we Jean Marie en Martine de tip gegeven om een kleine tafel met 2 comfortabele stoelen in de kamer te zetten. Jean Marie ging dat direct regelen! Dat was eigenlijk de enige tip die we hadden. Jean Marie en Martine zijn heel hartelijke mensen, die het je echt naar de zin maken! We hebben een heerlijke week gehad in dit mooie stuk Frankrijk. Ontzettend bedankt voor jullie hartelijkheid en goede zorgen!

Nous avons passé 2 nuits avec petit déjeuner ainsi qu'un diner aux terrasses de Gaumier chez Martine et Jean-Marie les 17 et 18 septembre 2024. L'accueil est très chaleureux, la chambre et la salle d'eau très propres et très confortables. La cuisine de Martine est excellente, tout est fait maison, brioche, pains, gauffres, confitures, pâte à tartiner, yaourt etc... un régal au petit déjeûner ! Le diner est aussi exceptionnel, apéro maison, excellente soupe de légumes du jardin de Jean-Marie, confit de canard et tarte au prunes, tout était délicieux ! Nous recommandons vivement cet endroit beau, calme et chaleureux. ¡ Muchas gracias Martine y Juan-María ! Marie-Jo et Henri

Nous étions un groupe de 9 et nous avons passé une nuit en demi pension .Nous faisions le tour du Périgord noir en vtt. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et bienveillants. Une cuisine de très bonne qualité tout est fait maison. Nous recommandons tous cet établissement.

nous étions 9 amis et sommes restes 3 jours et 2 nuits Chez Martine et Jean Marie accueil chaleureux chambres au top très propre salle de bain moderne et confortable petits déjeuner avec des pâtisseries , pain et viennoiseries faits maison nous avion pris la table d hôte pour les soirs apéritif offert avec des vins maison pèche orange coing ou vin blanc le tout accompagné de terrine rillettes tartines etc le menu réalise maison avec des produits locaux et le vin à discrétion bonne ambiance hôtes discrets et disponibles au besoin je recommande +++
