The Hotel is amazing, the location is just next to Florence cathedral. So close to good restaurants and shopping and tourist attractions. The hotel staff is very helpful and friendly, willing to go for extra mile to fulfill customer's needs. The rooms of the hotel is definitely one of the best with many layouts to choose from. Highly recommend the penthouse suite with a terrace, room 401c has a breathtaking dual duomo view and city view. The room is spacious and worth the money for sure.

房間超級乾淨、雖然是有歷史感的酒店可是維護的很好。住客可以每天享受兩小時温泉，不過水的温度不高，大概是33度，不是那種很熱的温泉。早餐很好吃，酒店內還有一家米其林2星，可以預訂時預約。走路十分鐘內能去左右景點，強烈推薦！

We stayed in the Galileo Suite for our honeymoon. The location in Florence is perfect. Not only did we have an unobstructed view of the Duomo but we had a private terrace with unobstructed views of the rest of Florence. Some of the best room service food I have ever eaten in my life. Phenomenal service all around. I wish we could have enjoyed the Michelin starred restaurant there but they were closed when we needed the reservation. My only complaint is that we did not stay long enough. Otherwise, Perfetto!

Our new favorite hotel in Florence! Every detail from the moment we checked in was perfect. The frescoed Jr Suite was spectacular, hands down the best room of our trip, with The Belmond's Castello di Casole a close second. The GM, Angelo Rizzi runs an incredible hotel. The staff was friendly and helpful; and the housekeeping was excellent. Even the spa was lovely. Our stay was so good that we added another night. We left Florence for Forte dei Marmi and realized that we were no longer at Pallazzo Portinari (read Principe review for details). We have always stayed at Portrait for Savoy in Florence, but Palazzo Portinari is our new Florentine Hotel. Bravo

I cannot recommend this intimate Palazzo highly enough. The location is unbeatable, the service without fault, the setting breathtaking and the rooms luxurious and beautiful (plus the Kingsized bed was incredibly comfortable). Nothing was too much trouble. It was an oasis of beauty and serenity which we never wanted to leave! Worth every penny. I can’t wait to return!

We found this Palace last year, so this is our second time here. If you can believe it, it just keeps getting better. Love Florence, but now we are using Palazzo as our base to see other cities. Just feels like home. The graciousness, warmth from the moment you walk in. Not to say each room has 20ft ceilings tubs, huge walk-in showers & all amenities you can think of. Gorgeous, exquisite. We also had breakfast every morning and we decided to eat dinner there. the Michelin restaurant was closed so we still ate there in the cafe, my bad sorry we didn't do this sooner. The chef/owner doesn't miss a trick & oversees everything. Introduces himself and is so proud of his restaurant & staff. All this important because when you have trust in your staff and they know it the pride they have shows and their attitude is noted. I suggest anyone visiting Florence, look up this property, it is the best kep secret & I may be sorry for telling you about it.

From the attentive staff, to the beautiful room and excellent location, this is one of the most historic and serene hotels that I have stayed in. Wonderful job of incorporating modern conveniences into the historic aspect of the hotel. With a large en suite bathroom, the bedroom was sick! Comfortable and spacious , the bedroom was complimented by an equally spacious bathroom with separate tub and shower. Downstairs was a small, but equally luxurious bathroom (no tub but wonderful shower). Each day, we were surprised with a gift, such as Lavender spray or a bottle of olive oil. Delicious breakfast, and steps away from the Duomo!

One of the best hotel in the world . Strongly recommend to stay there . Amazing hotel with highest level of service . We were so lucky to stay there and celebrate my friend's birthday . We appreciate our room and breakfast . Staff members are so welcoming and nice that we decided to return next year.
