B&B Relais Il Campanile

Chegamos no sábado as 16:50 após muito transito na estrada, um percurso que deveria ser de 3 horas fizemos em 7 , loucos para tomar banho e comer, mas qdo chegamos no hotel ninguém abriu a campainha. Ficamos na rua por 20 minutos, até um hóspede abrir a porta para nós. Ninguém nos recebeu para fazer o cheking, ligamos nos dois telefones possíveis e ninguém atendeu, depois de mais 30 minutos resolvemos abrir todas as portas de quartos possíveis e um hóspede veio nos ajudar, mandou mensagem pelo WhatsApp para o responsável e a princípio eles disseram que eu não havia reserva pois olhava meu sobrenome errado ( eu já havia pago). Enfim perrengue que da medo a qualquer viajante. O B&B é limpo amplo e muito bem localizado, sem comida no frigobar mas em frente ao Carrefour

There were drilling and hammering noise at 8 a.m. We paid for the accomodation to get some rest, but it was impossible due to the noise. Lights were flickering too. The location is amazing. There was a very good effort made to make it as comfortable as possible. I appreciated that there were plenty of extra blankets and pillows as well as toiletries. The staff was friendly and helpful. They stowed our luggage for free after we checked out so that we could hit a few more museums before leaving. There were some real problems that need to be addressed. There was mold in the bathroom above the shower. There was an awful smell in the stairwell leading to the room. Initially it was ok because it was only in the stairwell, but after a day the smell creeped into our room and by day two it was unbearable. There was an Air freshener in the room, but it didn’t do much. There was some brick laying work happening right outside our window and it began at 7:00 in the morning. This may have all been temporary and it is likely they are addressing the problem, but it did make for an uncomfortable stay. There were other problems that are understandable due to the age of the building and the location. For example: the walls are very thin so you can hear everyone who come and goes.

The staff was phenomenal and extremely accommodating. If they could do it then they would. We’re booked the hotel last second and had no issues whatsoever even with a late check in. They held our bags for us after we checked out so we could be bag free until our flight So close to everything and a very convenient spot!

Old and rundown. Toilet did not flush properly and leaked. Air conditioning broke within 1 day and could not be repaired.Not a hotel but a room to rent. Small room. No inroom safe. Photos are misleading. Expensive for what little you get.

The location is amazing, super close to the duomo and other city highlights (You can see Santa Maria del Fiore from the door!) The room was big and comfortable the downside was the AC, specially in a 40 degree day, it was super noisy and it didn't cool down the room much.

The location is perfect! Just a few steps to where the action is but far enough from the noise of the evening crowd. Looks like the room is newly renovated. The bathroom is squeaky clean with new fixtures and fittings. The room is cleaned everyday. The reception is located at the second floor. There is no elevator so you need to bring your luggage up the stairs. It is not an issue but just a useful information. Thank you Meg and your husband. You made our stay in Florence truy amazing. Will definitely book again with you.

The location is amazing, 1 block from Il Duomo. The staff was friendly and helpful. It’s loud outside but they have a storm proof window that really muffles the noise.
