Hotel is located around 10 mins from the train station. The walk is more challenging, when pulling luggages on cobbled streets. Need to ask the porter’s help with the luggages, since the hotel reception is located on first floor, which is only accessible by stairs. Hotel room is very dimly lit and the toilet is quite poorly designed. Due to the lack of space, toilet door cannot be opened fully. Will not choose to stay here again.

피렌체 일정이 갑자기 길어져서 급하게 예약한 호텔인데 체크인 하면서 비용을 더 지불하고 룸 업그레이드를 했습니다. 업그레이드 전의 방은 너무 작은게 이유였고 업그레이드시 객실 비용을 할인 해 주셔서 좋았습니다. 업그레이드한 객실은 넓었으나 길가에 있는 호텔이라 소음이 어쩔 수 없이 있었고 직원들이 친절했습니다. 객실이 현지풍이라 특이했고 그 외 다른 사항들은 나쁘지 않았다 정도 입니다.

立地は素晴らしく、部屋も広くて清潔で、インテリアも雰囲気が良いです。レセプションは親切で感じが良いです。ミニバーを利用したのですが、一日補充されていないことがありました。場所柄、場合によっては夜になると外の騒音が少し気になります。

Fabulous stay at Room Mate Isabella. The staff goes beyond to make your stay perfect. Location cannot be beat! The staff also provided excellent suggestions for dining close by. I hope to stay there again if we travel back to Florence. First rate!

A great boutique property in a very centrally located area of Florence! The rooms are a nice size with high ceilings. The staff is very welcoming and accomodating as well. The only thing to be aware of is there are steps to climb in order to get to the elevator to get to the lobby so will need a bellman's assistance when checking in to get your bags to the lobby.

The location of this hotel is excellent - 5 minutes walk to the Duomo, Uffizi and river. Florence is very busy and the centre can be noisy particularly late at night and I note this was an issue in some other hotel reviews - however there were no problems here and, as a light sleeper, I had no trouble sleeping. It is a small hotel and very clean and comfortable. I had a deluxe room which was lovely and elegant. Huge bathroom. The hotel staff are great - very accommodating and keen to ensure that you enjoy your stay. Breakfast has limited choice however given there are so many places to eat in Florence I ate out. The hotel has steps to the first floor given it is a very old building in the historic centre. It has a small lift available on the first floor - I am not keen on steps or small spaces but I had no problem with either and it did not spoil my stay at all. Overall I had a very enjoyable stay and would recommend this hotel.

The location is excellent but the location the hotel is outdated, the furniture is old and the elevator is old, the elevator can only have 3 persons, to access the hotel you need to climb like 20 steps to reach the reception. The breakfast has no varieties at all, the receptionist is good but as I stated before the hotel is very old and has only 30 rooms. Overall, not recommended to stay in this hotel.

Our last trip to Italy was 30 years ago and we truly looked forward to returning to Florence. Room Mate Isabella exceeded our expectations starting with an A+ rating on location. Above and beyond that, the service was excellent and am rating this AAA+++. Our experience started and ended with a very helpful Silvia who checked us in and out. Kim provided me everything I needed to make my room experience absolutely wonderful, including bringing me a glass shelf table which I used as my vanity during my stay paired with an extra stool. Augusto and Federico gave me the Concierge support and real time updates on museum availability and helped when Trenitalia cancelled my journey due to a strike and the need to rebook with Italo. Finally, every single day started with cheerful smiles and customized service from Antonelo who made our mornings heavenly at the breakfast salon. Kudos to Room Mate Isabella.

Room Mate Isabella splendidly surpassed my anticipations, primarily courtesy of the gracious and attentive staff at the reception and during breakfast. The accommodations, considering the reasonable tariff, were delightful, exuding cleanliness and warmth, although the bathroom's compactness, marked by a diminutive, movable partition in the shower, was a notable drawback. The reception, however, graciously proposed an alternative room. The concierge service by the front desk was commendable, adeptly arranging private tours and recommending local dining establishments of superior quality, a refreshing deviation from the typical tourist traps. The provision of a singular bottle of water could be improved by offering two. Additionally, the necessity of ascending a flight of stairs to access the hotel, while inconsequential to me, might be a consideration for future guests. I definitely recommend this boutique hotel, it is central, friendly to the guest and his/her wallet too!

We cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. The service was exquisite- friendly, helpful and charming, with special little details that made us feel part of the family. Halloween candy, handwritten notes from the housekeeper, complimentary wine, water, coffee, tea and a wide array of bathroom amenities. Plus the best breakfast buffet we have had in 40!years of travel to 4 and 5 star hotels. Excellent location and terrific restaurant recommendations.

The hotel is in a great location , short walking distance to everything . We stayed in the relaxed room and it was very clean and spacious . The decor is dark but pretty . The personnel is friendly and helpful. A special thank you to Tim and Daniela !

Room Mate Isabella was an INCREDIBLE stay!! We loved this hotel and would’ve stayed for many more days if we could’ve. The hotel was clean and safe, and in a great location. (We were 2 female travelers and felt safe and welcomed here). The staff was welcoming, friendly, and helpful. They made reservations without hesitation and gave good city recommendations. The room was amazing as well. The bed was comfortable and they offered enough pillows so that we had enough under our heads and could elevate our cankle-y feet at the end of the day. The bathroom was spacious and included a tub. It was just what we needed halfway through our trip. The AC was good. The breakfast was fantastic. They served eggs (first time we found them on our trip!), lots of fruit, and pastries. The coffee was fantastic as well. We loved their sitting room area with the prosecco and cookies. We often would go back for a break in our day just for those treats. It was perfectly located to the main attractions of Florence. It was easy to walk wherever we wanted to go. Also, we travelled to Florence via the train station and it was an easy walk to/from there. I would absolutely return to this hotel and recommend you check them out!
