Hotel Montreal

The place is pretty good for a 3*, the location is unbeatable, it has a buffet breakfast option, I did not take it because there are many restaurants nearby. The staff is quite friendly, but they don't have an assistant for your luggage, there are stairs everywhere and the elevator only goes up to the 1st floor, that's a big disadvantage, at the reception they give you all possible facilities and useful information for sightseeing.

Small welcoming hotel at incredible budget price. Cosy, neat , clean , modern room with tea facilities and big tv with Netflix options etc . I know some people have said their room was more dated but I had a very modern junior suite. It had a crisp white double bed and it also came with two extra beds and plenty of room so it’s a good option if friends are coming , I can imagine me and a couple of of my girlfriends having a fun stay . The bathroom was big with a great shower and as it was January the towel radiator in the bathroom was heavenly (also used it to dry my hand washed underwear which was useful ) Thermostat for heating or air con very simple to use as I just put a blast of warmth on before bed and that’s all I needed. Not much view as it’s on a side street but just perfect location 5 mins from Firenze main train station and 10 mins walk from many attractions such as Piazza del Duomo . I love that in Florence everything is about ten mins walk from everything and you never need cabs or buses in the centre . The hotel manager / front desk is delightful and welcoming so it’s like coming home to a kind uncle. I felt very safe. I hope whoever reads this also has a wonderful stay in Florence , I will say the steps inside the bell tower and the Duomo are not for weak knees or a feint heart , takes about 20 mins of steep small stone steps to get to the top but if you’re feeling fit, the view is breathtakingly worth it !

Al hotel le daría un 10 sin dudarlo. El atendimiento fue perfecto. La habitación, la ubicación, la limpieza... El personal es muy correcto, te facilita ayudar en todo lo que necesites, están pendientes desde que reservas parta facilitarte la llegada al hotel. Gratamente me sorprendió todo. Nos recomendó una pizzería que esta justo pegado que es una maravilla.
