Book somewhere else - please do not make the mistake we made. While the photos seem nice, the condition and cleanliness of the room is not a place you want to stay at. We arrived to the hotel at the time discussed and had to wait for 10 extra minutes while they told us “it is still being cleaned, we had 10 guys stay in all the rooms and they left it a mess.” While we understand some challenges with past people who stayed there, you do not want to know that minutes before entering. We entered the entryway which smelt very bad, made our way up and entered the room which was so hot the concierge had to take off his coat in the short time he showed us the room because he said “it is very hot” (which he was extremely nice and did his best with a clearly not well kept stay). We did our best to deal with it even with a quick need to leave for a reservation. We left the window open as the AC unit did not seem to work (yes, we had to try and use AC in winter because it was so hot). Before we left, we looked at the towels on the bed and there were ants crawling on them so we quickly asked them to exchange them which they did but it made us concerned with the rest of the stay and the bed’s cleanliness that the towels originally were on. After looking closer at the room, we noticed the bed had visible dirt, the bathroom had many broken parts (fan, flush of toilet, and no hand towels). We felt so dirty that we messaged them expressing that we wanted a refund for our 3 day stay before even sleeping the first night because we did not feel comfortable there. They acted like they would give the opportunity for a partial credit if someone booked it for the next two nights. Someone did book the room for a lower amount which they told us, we never received a refund and stopped responding after we requested the refund be paid. We filed a claim with our credit card and they denied everything. Very disappointing when a business does not hold its promises to its customers. It’s very beautiful from a distance, and we are so sad we didn’t feel comfortable staying. We appreciate Gonzalo’s communication.

So apparently these “airbnbs” are popping up as hotels everywhere in Italy. So beware, you must keep in contact with your host on your arrival time because no one will be there to let you in and unless you have international calling or internet connected you won’t be able to contact someone to get in. Not only was no one there when we arrived but the number given to us and the number listed outside on the door didn’t work! Luckily a maintenance guy was there and was able to contact our host. The same thing happened to my parents staying at a different “hotel” in the area. A nightmare. The room was clean but rustic. My side of the bed was comfortable but the other side must have been broken because it squeaked everyone time you moved and was uncomfortable. Our room was on the street side so it was noisy! If you’re a light sleeper don’t stay here. Walls are paper thin and you everything from the streets. Every car, bike, bus, and kids coming home late at night yelling in the streets. The fridge in the room didn’t work. A few other things didn’t work but we contacted the host and they were fixed. The wifi was very spotty. There was also barely any hot water in the shower. We stayed for five nights and no one ever came to clean our room or provide fresh towels or supply more toiletries. We won’t be back and we wouldn’t recommend this place to our friends or family.

Stanza perfettamente pulita, personale (Gonzalo) gentilissimo e disponibile. Situato in una posizione perfetta, convenzionato con un parcheggio che si trova nella via precedente. Bellissima l’idea della agenda per lasciare un messaggio. Ci tornerò volentieri
