The front of the hotel now extensively features the colour red, perhaps in recognition of the heritage of the new owners, listed as being "The Great Treasure Family Trust". We all know what happens when a business is taken over like this. If you don't understand what I'm getting at, then think "un-Australian". Previously I would have been happy to stay here but now I'm not likely to stay again. Rooms were average - what you'd expect I suppose and service, well.... Even my most basic questions were misunderstood and I was told to go elsewhere if I didn't want to pay the excessive nightly tariff. Is there nowhere in this country I can go anymore without having to accept that the place is being sold out to foreign interests who know little about genuine country hospitality?

Wonderfully helpful and accommodating. Nothing was too much trouble. Newly renovated room. Fanastic people to deal with. Comfortable room close to town. Across the road from the lake, for a lovely stroll.

Comfortable overnight stay for a family of 4. The beds where comfortable and the room was very clean. The bathroom had been redone with a very big and effective shower. Although the room must not have been used for awhile as it did smell abit musty initially. The room is in the corner of the facility so it looks out to a brick wall. The staff were very friendly and it was very quiet despite being on the highway. It looks unassuming from the road but was perfect for us.

Stayed for a few nights and was very impressed with the cleanliness and staff. Room was small and older style but had all the usual features. Was at the front and only heard the loudest trucks. All staff were helpful and friendly.

This is our first visit to Finley and we particularly wanted to stay close to the lake. Not disappointed at all. Just across the road. Really comfy and had all the essentials you need including a microwave, mini fridge and toiletries. Not modem but the cleanliness was a winner for me. Spotless. On the main road but so quiete. We booked 3 nights over Easter break and the price was pretty good compared to others especially in Tocumwal which is only 15 minutes drive away. All main shops about 5 minute walk away. Just perfect really. Here for another 2 nights but will certainly return.
