Selina Filandia

We didn’t stay here but we went for lunch and spent the afternoon at the pool. Good food, friendly people, beautiful setting, and a nice pool/hot tub. The kids loved swimming and the grown ups loved relaxing. A great place to spend an afternoon if you are in Finlandia or Salento. Easy to get to in a Willy.

After spending a few days in Salento and having already enjoyed my stay at the Selina Hostel in Bogotà, I also wanted to give the Selina in Filandia a visit. Filandia is a small town not far from Salento, which is a little less touristy, but where the people are very welcoming. I can recommend the Selina Hostel to anyone who is looking for some relaxation and nature. The dorms are functional and well equipped, there are even blankets in case it gets colder at night. The bathroom is located directly in the dorm and also has shower gel and shampoo is provided. I was told that the private rooms are also nicely and functionally furnished. The hostel also has a pool and a heated Jacuzzi. There is also a kitchen (which I didn't use, but they have a water filter so you can refill your water bottles there) and a restaurant area that is great for working. A small highlight is the so-called Native Mountain, a small hiking trail with a small river and numerous trees and plants directly between the accommodation house and the restaurant. But what makes the hostel special is not only its location in the middle of nature, but also the warmth and friendliness of the Selina team. You are greeted in the morning with a big smile and have a very helpful team on site. On arrival, I was put into a WhatsApp group where the team was sharing the daily programme and menu (only on the day of my arrival, the restaurant was closed, but the reception suggested to order some food and handled the order for me). While there is a breakfast in the morning (you can choose between eggs, sandwiches, really fluffy pancakes and granola I think- fruits and cafe monañero are always included). Also at lunch there is always a menu with drink for about 18,000 COP while in the evening there is also always a starter and main course for about 25,000 COP. Vegetarian (sometimes vegan) alternatives are also available. And the food was always really great! In the evening, there's also canelazo, a warm cocktail typical of the region. Another highlight in the evening: sometimes there is a bonfire where you can talk to other travellers and sit together in a cosy atmosphere. Probably the biggest disadvantage (but also an advantage) of the hostel is its location. It is approx. 3km from Filandia, but you can take private transport for 20,000 COP or wait on the road for the jeep collectivo (sometimes the locals will give you a lift). A regular cheap/free shuttle service would be very cool here! The hostel also organises and arranges some tours, e.g. visits to coffee farms. There is a river about 6 km away that you can walk to. In line with the Selina concept, a free but very high-quality yoga session was offered every morning (except Saturday) during my stay - a perfect start to the day! I enjoyed my stay at Selina Filandia so much that I even extended it by one day. The team was super friendly and did everything they could to make you feel comfortable, the food was extremely tasty and also

Per arrivare a destinazione il tragitto è poco chiaro e le strade sono sterrate . Per muoversi verso il centro è necessario chiamare sempre taxi che non accettano carta di credito . La stanza era grande e nel mezzo della natura per questo la presenza di diversi insetti . La colazione era scarsa .

Después de más de un mes viajando por Colobia y haber visitado otros Selina, puedo decir sin duda que el Selina Quindío es EL MEJOR de todos ellos. Laura nos ha recibido con mucha alegría y buena vibra, estando pendiente en todo momento de nuestra comodidad y bienestar. El upgrade de nuestra habitación nos ha permitido disfrutar de este paraíso con unas vistas inmejorables. La cocina ha superado nuestras expectativas, y el trabajo en la recepción de Diego y Andrea nos hizo sentir como en casa. Por si fuera poco, pudimos darnos un baño nocturno en el jacuzzi. Sin duda, una experiencia recomendable para toda persona que visite el Eje Cafetero. IMPORTANTE: Mi pareja y yo hemos sido los primeros clientes tras la reapertura. Estamos convencidos de que en los próximos meses será aún más impresionante!

Un lugar para recargar energias, el servicio fue genial. Los chicos están muy prestos a colaborarte con lo que requieras. Las habitaciones son cómodas y las instalaciones muy lindas. Está a 10 minutos de filandia y la vía en perfectas condiciones

Las almohadas muy grandes, súper incomodas para dormir y la piscina muy sucia. Ojalá el restaurante atendiera hasta tarde, quizás hasta las 10 de la noche. Desde muy temprano se escucha el ruido de las otras habitaciones.

Me encanto la habitación, el personal es súper amable, las instalaciones me enamoraron completamente, tiene piscina, fogata y muchas cosas súper lindas. El personal del lugar nos ayudó en todas las dudas, siempre nos dieron consejos y tips súper buenos

El lugar es una excelente opción para descansar, con comida exquisita (especialmente el desayuno), gran servicio (la muchacha de recepción Paula nos fue de gran ayuda) y la posibilidad de hacer amistades. Esperamos volver pronto.

Fue una estadía increíble todo muy cómodo y limpio, desde mi habitación tuve una vista hermosa el despertar con los pájaros maravilloso, al levantarme un camino rodeado de naturaleza para llegar al restaurante!! Recomendado las tostadas de Aguacate. Yo le doy 10 de 10 A Diana gracias por hacer de nuestra visita un descanso maravilloso.. gracias por tu atención, Vengan a este lugar ¡ a disfrutar de las maravillas de la naturaleza.
