Villa Casagrande Resort e Spa

Stayed at villa Casagrande in August 2024. • Location: excellent base for sightseeing Tuscany • Reception: excellent and friendly • Rooms: excellent and spacious • Cleaning: good • Facilities: good • Wine and cooking course: good and excellent respectively • Bar: not available. You have to go into the village for a drink • Breakfast: good but same every day • Restaurant: moderate o poor service by male staff o unsolicited extra bread and water o appetizer man and main course woman served at the same time o in dish unbuckle the vegetables because the cook had not bought them but we had to seem it for ourselves o wrong wine served for the second glass • Communication o beforehand good o Afterwards 3 times mail to the email address I received from the reception and thereafter 2x to the CEO and the info address of Casagrande but until now nothing heard

The hotel has magic vibes. Amazingly ancient structure with history that screams everywhere. Highly recommended for a short stay or a real holiday. Will be back. Honestly worth every minute. Been there several times and always a unforgettable stay. The guided tour of the palace, with cellars, and noble estate is a MUST DO.

A truly wonderful experience. We came with no expectations except that we wanted a Tuscan holiday with sunshine, a pool and great food. We got all of that and so much more. We arrived very late after a flight delay, and were greeted warmly by the reception staff. They arranged a late dinner in our room. Our suite was fantastic, over looking the courtyard and gardens, the sofa bed was comfortable for our daughter and we had so much space! The bathroom could have done with a shower curtain (we did flood the floor a few times!). The hotel is so unique, so many hidden corridors, and places to sit and read. Both pools are lovely, and were both very quiet. We ate at the hotel several times and had fabulous meals. We had such a wonderful holiday. We couldn't fault anything at all. Top marks to the reception staff who were always so incredibly helpful and kind, managing to get us dinner reservations, directions to places and even an appointment at the local hospital!

Fantastic hotel, helpful staff, great wine tasting and breakfast. The hotel tour was really interesting and the guide was knowledgeable. Close to the centre with good restaurants and lively atmosphere. Would highly recommend and intend to return.

Lovely place. Quiet. Serene. Beautiful. Excellent meals. Good breakfast. Delicious dinner. Good bedding. Good bed! Nice place to rest after a long flight. Pool. Beautiful grounds. Peaceful. Nice dining area in a medieval courtyard. Gardens. Indoor pool. Outdoor pool across the street up a hill. A gold cart helped us get there.

Atmosphere of the place is lovely. Very clean and well kept. Breakfast was a nice selection buy exactly the same every day. Bed was a bit hard and the hair dryers hardly blew out any air. Hilltop view, patio and restaurant were fantastic. Close to the square for restaurants and shops. Would definitely stay there again. Also walking distance to the train station . Front desk staff were always very helpful and friendly.
