The Lake Cabins Resort provides a rustic getaway with modern amenities for your hiking, biking or boating vacation. The resort accommodations include the Lake House and 6 log cabins. along with complimentary use of our kayaks and paddle boards. Our resort has 100 ft of private beachfront along all sport, 617 acre Fife Lake, which is known for its great fishing and water sports. A short drive to Traverse City, Kalkaska and Cadillac put Fife Lake in the center of it all, with the Boardman River to the north and the Manistee River to the south. Whether you are looking for a getaway for 2, or a place to host a large gathering, The Lake Cabins Resort has something to fit your needs. The resort was built in the early 40’s and has lots of local history with the people and families that have enjoyed the resort in years past. We have restored the full log cabins with new kitchens and many upgrades that make for a great vacation spot. Fife Lake was voted best inland lake in northern Michigan in 2014. Our pristine beach is a great place to relax and soak up some sun. You can feel comfortable with the kids swimming off our beach as the water is shallow to the end of our dock. Docks are removed for the winter. Cabin 3 has 2 bedrooms and a futon. Sleeps 5 comfortably 6 if the children are small.
