Campanile Lyon Sud - Feyzin

This hotel is located close to the ‘autoroute du soleil’ which is why we picked it on our way south. Downsides: it’s located in a very industrial area, with a huge factory just next to it. There’s no fridge in the room. You pay 100 EUR on average/night for a double room which is quite overpriced if you ask me, but it’s just the price you pay for a clean room in French cities. Plus: friendly staff, secured parking, decent breakfast, clean room. In just a 5 min drive you can reach the highway again and continue your road trip. Rooms were quiet. We had an issue upon check-out due to Trip.com having provided wrong information to the hotel (I had paid for a room with breakfast to Trip.com and the hotel couldn’t see the same on their reservation system so they thought I hadn’t paid for breakfast.) It was the first time I booked a room via Trip.com. It took me a while to find out how I could talk to their customer service. After 5 min of chatting with customer service, I got one of their assistants on the phone who talked to me first, then to the hotel staff and after the talk, trip.com asked me to pay the hotel for my breakfast once again and said they would refund my breakfast, which they meanwhile did. But all in all we nearly lost an hour of our precious vacation time due to this issue, which is why I’m very reluctant in using trip.com for a second time. I never had these kind of issues with *********** or **********. Luckily the Campanile employee remained friendly all the time.

Rate is too high for this kind of hotel, a little bit far from Lyon Good point for the free parking and the direct access to the room. The price of the breakfast is too high the quality and the limited choice.

Très bon restaurant, plats copieux et délicieux. Service impeccable, on ne m’a pas forcé la main pour une boisson ou un dessert. Personnel attentif, aimable et discret. Je ne regrette pas ce moment. Le restaurant devrait néanmoins servir un peu plus tard que 21h (on m’a même dit 20h30), car quand on arrive de loin tard ce n’est pas évident.

En transit vers le sud nous nous sommes arrêtez pour la nuit au campanile de Lyon sud ( feyzin) . Accueil très convivial et chaleureux, la personne a l’accueil était très aimable. Nous décidons de dîner au restaurant de l’hôtel.. la catastrophe ! Apéritif ridicule, quasi rien dans le verre a peine 2 min après avoir eu le verre d’apéritif le plat était la .. ( lasagne au saumon ) . La portion était minuscule.. honteux de servir cela . Vous pouvez franchement vous faire livrer un repas car vous avez toujours fin après. Le lendemain matin … accueil désastreux, pas un sourire , la personne a l’accueil est clair pas contente d’être là . Heureusement le petit déjeuner était très bien , rien à redire . Au sortir de la salle , pas un mots , pas un au revoir de la personne a l’accueil. Je revendrai l année prochaine mais je ne prendrai pas le repas du soir la . Ps: chambre propre et confortable, la dessus rien à signaler

Parfait pour une halte pour rentrer des vacances, chambre très fonctionnelle rien à dire pour le prix qui est correct. Je le recommande, même en famille propre et bien placé proche des autoroutes. Faut juste se déplacer si vous voulez manger au restaurant. 7min en voiture.

Nouvelle déco sympa. Mais une chambre qui sentait le tabac froid, et une literie épouvantable, vieux matelas à ressort écrasé !! Très mal dormi. Très déçue de l’établissement Campanile de Feyzin, je n’y retournerai plus et je le conseille pas .
