We came across this magestic place it was such a delightful spot ! Genuine staff , Extremely delecious meals and let’s not forget about the cleaniness of the place . It was really a wonderful experience to say the least . Will definitely come again !

Great place to stay in Fes. Lovely staff, very welcoming and warm the whole time. Great facilities, great wifi. Lovely 360 view on top! On arrival you are offered traditional Moroccon tea and given a map and breakdown of where to and not to go in Fes which is very helpful as it’s an intricate city.

Finding this place was the highlight of our time in Fes. The owners of this family-run dar have hearts of gold! We were in Fes during Eid and they invited us to spend the holiday with them. It was incredibly generous and unforgettable to be welcomed like family on the biggest holiday in the Islamic calendar. The Dar is from the 17th century so like many things in Fes, it is old with a lot of history and characters. The owner specializes in Moroccan tile work and renovated Dar Elinor in 2017. The central “courtyard” is stunning, but the best part (in my opinion) is the rooftop. There are two areas of the rooftop, one that’s enclosed with AC and lots of windows (so you still have a view) and one section that’s open. The breakfast was also a highlight.

Dar Elinor has been the best hostel experience I ever have had, I could not have asked for a better stay. I am newly 20 and new to the travel world and I have never felt so safe, welcomed, and happy to be a part of a hostel/community. I am posting on trip advisor, as well as google, because I am just so grateful for my experience!! The owner, Abdul Aziz, treated my two friends and I like family while being entirely respectful and professional. He is truly a great leader and human and it is evident through his genuine, kind demeanor and by this beautiful, welcoming establishment. I just truly hope that I have the opportunity to visit again. If you want a beautiful and safe stay in Fes and want to learn about and experience a culture that prioritizes generosity and community, you should definitely stay here.

Great Riad in fez , all the employees are women I thought that was interesting, you don’t see much of that in Morocco , I felt very safe during my stay . I will definitely recommend dar Elinore to every one coming this way Enjoy your travels peace ✌️

Honestly made our trip so much better. I wish we could have stayed longer. Easy to reach and safe area with truly a beautiful building. Staff were kind and extremely helpful. Will be the place i stay for all future visits in Fes. Thank you so much :)

Friendly staff that made the whole experience very comfortable. Throughout my stay here I felt safe and was given all the info I needed. A beautiful building with great moroccan design . The terrace was lovely to sit up on in the evening. Also tried the food and it was a delight. Thank you soooo much to everyone and a special mention to Badiha she was so kind.

The second I stepped in I knew I had made the right decision to stay here. We arrived right after the staff was breaking fast for Ramadan, and they stopped everything and brought us mint tea while we waited to be checked in. Their hospitality was more than we could have asked for and me and my friends (young women) felt so safe and comfortable which we really needed after such a long travel day. I never write reviews but I have to because this was such an amazing place to stay. The rooms where spotless and the beds where so so comfortable, not to mention ever room was beautiful and colorful and just such a wonderful experience to stay in. I truly have no complaints, and cannot recommend staying here enough.

Our stay at the dar was impeccable from the start. Greeted with mint teas and and full tour of our rooms and the entire premises, we then had dinner up on the beautiful terrace. Our room was wonderful, with complete accommodations that included a luxurious bathroom. We were provided with a lovely breakfast in the morning as well. Abdul Aziz, the owner, helped us out throughout the entire stay and we couldn’t ask for a more kind host! He treated my friends and I with such kindness and respect and I felt incredibly welcomed the entire time! If you’re in Fes, this is the only place to stay!
