Agroturismo Son Vives Menorca - Adults Only

There is a beautiful vegetable garden with these ripe strawberries but we never tried them, they wanted to charge us for some coffee and water from the reception when you pay 300 plus euros a night, no amenities in the room such as enough water when tab water is not drinkable, ... one of us forgot toiletry bag and we asked for a toothbrushed and they looked at as in a rude way... We were three women in the room and it was a pulled out bed, only two lounge chairs and not enough towels. Room was dirty with leftovers from previous guests. We had a plane back to the peninsula at midnight and they kicked us out at noon when they told us that nobody was coming to our room that day or the day after... never offered for us to stay in the pool... and just chilled... no fruit in the room, no little food in the room to welcome... you are in the middle of nowhere....too expensive when you are sleeping in a pull-out bed and no view of the mountains or the sea in your room... no sense of agriturismo... seems like a lost opportunity. The first day they did not offer eggs or any protein.... when we left we learned that we could have borrowed sea googles and umbrellas... they did not offer, All would be ok if this was a hostel but not an expensive place. Not memorable and we will not go back!

the staff was extremely unpleasant, for personal reasons I asked well in advance to be able to move the reservation or receive a voucher but they refused without giving any reason. I do not recommend it to anyone and will take legal action. As their policies go against the European directive on the right of withdrawal.

This resort is a small piece of paradise in a marvellous island! Everything Is perfect and relaxing. Staff Is really kind and professional. Good raw materials quality for breakfast, served on a wonderful terrace. We look forward and hope to come back in a near future!

I really don’t know where to begin. So I will go straight to the point. If you are planning on a quiet retreat in the countryside, with a 360 view of both the sea and the mountains, if you like animals, typical food, and want to feel at home, well, look no further. This place is undeniably the BEST we’ve ever stayed at, EVER. And believe me, we’ve been around a lot. Special thanks to both Michèles and of course Tomeu who made us feel special, as they do every guest. The place is just wonderful, the grounds are very well monitored, down to the last detail and the views… the views… ! Sunset, sunrise, cloudy, cloudless… Always a masterpiece. BUT that’s not all ! The food is amazing and the cooks/waitresses are so kind and sweet : in the morning you’ll get served a wide array of local cooked meats and the farm’s very own cheese (delicious !) ; along with home-made marmelade, smoked salmon, three types of bread, orange juice, lots of typical pastries (including ensaimadas), Greek yogourt, lots of home-grown fruits, and some nice delicatessens… and much more ! Like I said, the staff is just adamant to make you feel at home : everyone is truthfully welcoming and sweet, from the cooks, to the gardener, the waitresses, the cleaning staff, to the receptionists. You truly feel like you’re part of their world for a moment. It’s soooo not a typical customer/staff relationship. In terms of technicalities, they can help you book any tour, provide beach umbrellas, beach towels, bath towels and yoga mats, recommend beaches and restaurants (though you should try their home-cooked meals with their very own vegetables) ; their is also a Nespresso machine and Minorcan pastries at the reception, and a fridge in the bedroom with water and pagos. You can (must?) also book a table in the evening (delicious dinner, great wine, amazing views) and ask for a special packed lunch if ever you wanna explore the grounds or go to the nearby beaches. We strongly recommend you pack good shoes and rent a car to go explore the island : some of the most beautiful beaches are often the most far from the car parks (and for a very good reason indeed !) ; you should also try a horse-riding excursion (Menorca a Cavall isn’t far and the staff is awesome, the beach we went to with the horses was amazing) ; you need to ask for a tour of the grounds with Tomeu : his kindness and hospitality are just heartwarming. What a great human being… ! You’ll understand how the place came to be, what animals they take care of and work with, and simply have a chat with a sweet-spirited man ; and then, just go with the flow ! What you’ll enjoy the most is probably the quiet, and the impression of being part of nature. I can’t recommend this place more… Just go. It will be worth your while.

Un véritable havre de paix. L'agroturismo offre une vue splendide, sur la campagne environnante et jusqu'a la mer. Les chambres sont décorées avec gout, mêlant charme rustique et confort moderne. Le personnel est aux petits sois, toujours attentionné et souriant. Mention spécial pour le massage, un moment de pure détente dans un cadre apaisant.

Agroturismo vraiment agréable et calme, avec une vue incroyable à 360 degrés. Si vous cherchez du repos et du silence, c’est l’endroit idéal. L’accueil et les dames qui préparent le petit déjeuner sont vraiment top et attentionnées. Rien à redire. Seuls bémols de notre séjour : - Connexion wifi mauvaise et instable (il faudrait penser à installer Starlink …) - Pas de repas le midi. Impossible donc de rester se reposer autour de la piscine toute une journée, sauf si vous faites un régime… - Obligation de débrancher tous les soirs le frigo dans la chambre, sous peine d’être réveillés toutes les 1/2 heure dans la nuit par la mise en route du compresseur (Il existe pourtant des modèles de frigos totalement silencieux pour les Hôtels et hôpitaux. Il serait bien d’y penser ;-) - Absence de rideaux occultants. Réveil assuré à 6h00 tous les matins. Anormal dans un hôtel… - Nombre de mouches hallucinant au petit déjeuner et dans la chambre si on a le malheur d’ouvrir la fenêtre. On comprend que ce soit une ferme, mais c’est trop et aucun piège posé pour réduire le phénomène.
