Very frindly staff and good location for surfing. Good bar and resturent. Rooms small but nice design. Pool and rooftop ok - but small. Missed complementary tea and coffe (expensive in bar). Surfschool good but rental of surfboards and wetsuit very expensive.

The culinary offerings at Surfers Lodge Peniche exceeded all expectations. Every meal was a delight, with fresh, locally sourced ingredients and a creative menu that catered to all tastes. The breakfast spread was fantastic, offering various healthy options to fuel our day. Dinners were equally impressive, with flavorful dishes that showcased the best of Portuguese cuisine. The seafood, in particular, was outstanding – perfectly cooked and bursting with flavor. The ambiance of the dining area added to the experience, with its cozy and relaxed vibe, making every meal a pleasure. The location is a stunning coastal setting. Thank you, Surfers Lodge Peniche, for an incredible experience! --

Firstly, never hire a surfboard from here. 10 euros everywhere else in town and a whopping 40 euros for 2hrs here.... scandalous and insulting. Literally everywhere charges 10 euros, so I didn't clarify the price (just like I don't clarify the price of beer at every bar). But after renting at the beach spots, thought I'd rent from the hotel for a change...big mistake and really felt taken advantage of. Now with the good & bad: Good: Clean & modern rooms, attentive staff and good breakfast. Close to great sushi and mexican restaurants. Bad: small rooms and even smaller bathroom, excessive rental prices and not exactly a 'surfers lodge'; more suited for a couples hotel. Also at reception, not much of a welcome and no local info provided. Mixed feelings about this place; honestly expected more

Awesome hotel, super nice rooms and very clean. Breakfast was great with a wide selection in buffet style. Location was fab and only 5 mins walk to the beach. Staff super friendly and the restaurant was amazing, the food was delicious and great menu. Fab place to stay in Baleal!

Nice hotel in surfers thema. The dinner and lunch food was very nice. Maybe price a bit high for Portugal, but more than worth it! I took my first ever surf lessons with Joao. (Reserved in advance). Clean and good materials. I would recommend this place to others looking for a nice place to stay.

We were staying at the MH Hotel Peniche and went to Surfers Lodge for dinner. A nice place nearby and good food and friendly staff. A little on the dear side but excellent food. Plenty of parking nearby. We had no booked and were seated straight away. Good service and nice surroundings and plenty of surf gear used as decoration.

C’est vrai qu’on ne s’attendait pas à un hôtel au bord de la route. Une fois cette déception passée, on a essayé de rester objectif sur le reste de l’expérience. Commençons par les bonnes choses: la nourriture du restaurant est savoureuse, bien que pas très locales, mais la carte donne envie et surtout ils servent tout au long de la journée ce qui est bien pratique et agréable. Le personnel est sympathique et efficace. Ils prêtent des vélos et des skates et organisent des cours de surf. La déco, qui se veut « Surfer-cool » est sympa mais un peu moyenne au final, bâclée et artificiellement cool. Les chambres sont petites et celles du Rez carrément sombres! Je trouve globalement que c’est trop cher mais probablement la meilleure offre à la ronde malgré tout.

L’hotel est sympa,ambiance jeune surfer calme. Bien placé pour le surf biensur mais également pour partir en ballade à pied. Le restaurant est très sympa avec une carte originale et bien variée et quelques cocktails. Gros bémol pour ceux sensibles au bruit: l’hôtel est traversé par des gaines de ventilation qui font pas mal de bruit jour et nuit.j’ai l’impression que toutes les chambres sont concernées. Autre remarque le petit-déjeuner est compris dans le prix mais uniquement pour ceux qui prennent café ou thé ; si vous voulez du chocolat celui ci vous sera facturé en supplément, quand on paye 300 euros la chambre....
