Snow Creek Lodge by Fernie Lodging Co

The Fernie Lodging Company looks after this unit (S101), which is located at the Fernie Ski Hill. To access the condo, you have to drive to one building and access your keys via a lock box, then drive to the location of where you are staying. The interior is an open sitting area with the previous check in area all closed up, so it feels like a ghost town. When we opened the door to our unit, right away we noticed how bad it stunk. We opened all the windows to air it out. I didn't like the decor of dead animal heads in the unit (which is why I think it stunk so bad), thank God, I don't have allergies. When booking we were not informed of this and that should have been disclosed. I also didn't appreciate how dirty the stove was, the oven and that I don't think they have changed the shower curtain in years. Considering what we paid to stay and what the damage deposit was, it was overall disgusting! Another disappointment was you can't even sit outside on the deck as no patio furniture is provided. They have a broken chair in the corner and nothing else, and the weather was beautiful. We only enjoyed the pool and hot tub as they were the cleanest. Before you book, ask lots of questions about this place OR go stay somewhere else. BIG, BIG, DISAPPOINTMENT.
