Courtyard Farmington

In one word - Pathetic!! As I was travelling from Phoenix throughout the day, I checked in around 9 pm local time. After some time got to know that the water was clogging in the commode. I called in to reception and asked them to check. Got the reply that they were checking with their maintenance team. After almost 30 mins (around 10 pm), I went to reception desk and asked about the same. Got a reply that since maintenance team was not available around that time, they couldn't help me. So, I asked to change the room for which I got an answer that there was no vacant rooms available that time. I asked what I could do in such situation as problem was serious one. The person at reception cold bloodly replied that since my room was booked by third party ( in this case Trip.com) I was supposed to check with you guys.. What the heck??? That really made me frustrated as I had travelled for complete day and wanted it test just for few hrs with good amenities in my room but got such pathetic response from the hotel management. Finally I literally debated with her after which she checked with her manager (or she told me that) and I got different room. Hi Trip.com team - Please look into this and never show such pathetic hotels in your search. I am really pissed off.

My 2nd or 3rd time staying at this hotel- friendly staff- and this time there was no construction and what they have done with the place is amazing! Great complementary breakfast! Nice outdoor area to sit and relax and a nice lobby to do the same when it is too warm outside and want to get out of your room. Plenty of places to eat at within walking distance! Thank you Courtyard Farmington for having me~

As a titanium elite, they let me check into my king room at 7am - super thankful after my redeye flight. Upgraded and refreshed bathrooms, bed was super comfortable, work space was new, and unlike older Courtyards, there was plenty of lighting and a large mirror in the room! Bartender at the bar was great at mixing craft cocktails (a bit of a surprise at the Courtyard, honestly). Only downside was the sad gym. Still, pretty solid for a Courtyard. I stay here pretty consistently when I’m in the FH area.

This hotel is a DUMP! I have spent 6 nights in the last 3 weeks at Marriott hotels because I trust them to be clean. This place is awful! I understand that there is some refurbishment going on but that shouldn’t make a difference to how dirty this room is. The bathroom is filthy, long black hairs in the bathroom…we are a family of blondes. Dirty towels are hanging in the bathroom. I went to get ice, ice machine out of order. Went downstairs to get a drink from their “market” and the fridge they were in wasn’t working and drinks weren’t cold. Super disappointed in a brand I can always trust…until tonight.

While the public areas were under renovation during our one night stay, everything was managed so that we had a very pleasant stay. The room was updated. The staff were pleasant. Love the comfortable bed and cushy pillows which offered several levels of firmness.

I would like to start with the positives. The employees are top notch. They provided great service. I was there for a conference with 4 catered meals. They were so yummy. The severs went out of their way to make sure we enjoyed our experience. The cleaning staff worked hard to keep the property/rooms clean. The front desk workers, Ivy, could not have been more professional. Now, the negatives, which are not within the control of the outstanding employees. There is only one, very slow elevator. Everyone, cleaners and guests, must use unless you want to use the stairs. The ice machines worked sporadically. The pool/hot tub was not operating. The hallway to the conference area smelled of raw sewage. The conference rooms were hot. I know the property is under remodel, but in talking with other guests, this fact had not been made readily known before booking.

This hotel offered very good value in Farmington. Six night stay. I had some odd things happen at this hotel, but can live with that at a very good price point. Plenty of parking, room was clean and comfortable. No bottled water available, not even to purchase. Went to Wal-Mart and bought a 24 pack of water. Hotel currently being remodeled. Had a nice dinner in their conference room with a large group. After first night, was locked out of my room & had to get new room key. Despite requests for housekeeping services, were not provided daily. Front desk staff seemed frustrated, like there was a battle going on between the desk staff & the housekeepers. Front desk provided fresh towels. The front desk staff were friendly and trying hard to assist guests. Coin-op customer laundry was out of order. So, overall a mixed bag, but clean and price was a bargain.

Very disappointed in stay. I asked for a hotel with an electric charging station. They do not have one. I went to watch TV and none of the streaming services worked. I had a long drive and wanted to relax with a movie before bed. When I asked why they weren’t working I was told that only the basic channels worked. I expect much more than I got at this Courtyard.

This location has just renovated their rooms and while they are still working on the property, it is coming along very well. The new rooms are clean and spacious and everything in new. The desk staff was friendly and helpful and the bed was even comfortable.
