Antiche Terre Hotel & Relax

All the positive reviews of Antiche Terre Hotel & Relax is a mystery. We were misled, and stayed there for three nights during our three weeks summer holiday in July-August 2023, and this is by far our worst experience. The location is in the middle of nowhere, and the place is in a desperate need of renovation. Unfortunately, we arrived in time for dinner. The premises are more like a school dining hall than a restaurant. There is only one option for dinner; a full three-course menu with two choices for main course. We asked if we could share one three-course menu between two persons, but that is out of the question - you are stuck to the full three-course menu or nothing. The fish was completely dry and tasteless and the meat resembled rubber. We politely complained, but were not taken seriously. This “restaurant” is a true disgrace to the wonderful Italian kitchen. The staff in the “restaurant” used security guard radio earplugs inspired by nineties spy-movies, and it was difficult to understand if they were talking to you or to each other. The unfriendly, tattooed wannabe security guard managing the “restaurant” made the already uncomfortable atmosphere even worse. The rooms and bathrooms are very simple: Outdated interior, no air-condition and paper-thin walls. You can hear exactly what is going on in the other rooms, so you don’t need to bother using your own alarm in the morning as the alarms from the other rooms will wake you up. This is actually not a problem since the roosters outside probably are well underway in their impressively long lasting morning show anyway. If you against all odds should be able to sleep through this, be sure that the loud music from the reception effectively will do the job. We were sure the breakfast should be better than the dinner, but were unfortunately wrong. It’s very simple with the cheapest sort of toppings and bread, and overall very limited selection. If you want eggs you have to pay extra. To emphasize the quality level of this place, industrial juice is self-served in disposable plastic cups. At least we didn’t need to use dirty glasses like we had at the dinner. We did not feel welcome at Antiche Terre Hotel & Relax and wondered if the staff is working against their will and really don’t want guests. We had the impression that we bothered them with our presence. We strongly advise against spending time and money at this place. There are so many nicer hotels with polite staff in the market. One star is given for an unforgettable stay. We were actually amused by the unprofessionalism.

Sono stata una notte con la mia famiglia. La location é molto bella, l'hotel é immerso nella natura e si può godere di un panorama sulle colline circostanti. Non abbiamo utilizzato la piscina ma é aperta tutto il giorno a disposizione degli ospiti. Le stanze sono un po' vecchio stile, nella nostra le prese della corrente non funzionavano bene quindi abbiamo avuto qualche difficoltà, ma comunque pulita. In generale il contesto é rilassante e ha dell'ottimo potenziale, se non fosse per il ristorante. La colazione era inclusa nel prezzo ed era soddisfacente, adeguata a quanto abbiamo pagato per il soggiorno. Altrettanto non si può dire della cena che é stata una vera delusione, soprattutto se si considera il prezzo per il menu degustazione offerto. Le portate erano davvero di scarsa qualità, e, alle nostre lamentele a riguardo, ci é stato risposto con atteggiamento di sufficienza da parte della signora della cucina. Il titolare al contrario si é mostrato comprensivo tanto da non farci pagare il conto della cena che praticamente non abbiamo consumato. Consigliato per permanenza breve ma da evitare la cena in loco.

Posto immerso nel verde nella cornice delle splendide cinque terre pe rilassarsi e godersi un bella piscinetta....consigliato per chi si muove in auto e vuole isolarsi lontano dai rumori del traffico e della città per godere appieno giorni destinati al riposo e relax

Nous étions un groupe de 50 randonneurs. J’étais dans la chambre 234, la fenêtre donnait sur un mur de 5 m de haut, rempli de mousse. Pas un rayon de soleil ne rentrait, pareil pour la salle de bains. Il faisait noir même en plein jour ! Pas de chauffage pour se laver. Dehors 12 degrés, tout était humide, les serviettes de toilettes ne séchaient pas, les meubles sentaient l’humidité et donc les habits dedans aussi. Les draps moites, il n’y avait pas de chauffage. Nous étions arrivés le mardi, le chauffage a été mis le samedi après plusieurs réclamations. On a appris au milieu du séjour que l’eau n’était pas potable. La restauration était correcte.

J'ai pensé que le serveur se trompait de sens et que ce qu'il apportait était une assiette destinée à la poubelle et constituée de restes froids. deux carrés de pizza de 5x5 cm posés l'un sur l'autre, avec pour toute garniture du concentré de tomates et une noix de fromage. La dorade grillée goûtait les hydrocarbures et aurait pu servir de semelle à mes chaussures de randonnée. La purée en flocons style Mousseline accompagneune tranche de viande sans goût, épaisse comme une tranche de mortadelle.

Abbiamo soggiornato nella struttura dopo una giornata alle cinque Terre. Ottima località per chi si sposta in macchina, considerato anche l'ampio parcheggio. I proprietari gentili e disponibili a qualsiasi informazione. La camera pulita e con tutto il necessario. Colazione abbondante. In più al check in ci è stato proposto un menú del giorno per la cena, non ci siamo fermati, però l'abbiamo trovato un bel servizio.
