Hotel Tahiti Nui

雙床房間被分配到最差的外部環境，二層陽台直接被全樓的幾個巨型空調室外機佔領了視野，噪音大，不能開窗門，外面巨熱。

The hotel location is very good. The facilities were pretty good as well. The reception/management is sub par. They will give you the classical French treatment of I don’t care what you think you need. You are better not asking reception for anything unless you like being frustrated. We were treated rudely! The hotel is on an incredibly busy road that is quite loud, 24/7. The bed was way too soft and actually hurt my back. No free breakfast, which you usually get in other hotels. There was also some serious mildew in the shower and the shower leaked into the next room. This hotel is NOT a resort and yet they charge a resort fee. If you want a real resort, you want to be on the water not in the middle of a so so looking downtown area. The hotel worked for us for two days, but we will not return to this location when we return to Tahiti. We found much better on the water.

The only thing going for this Hotel is the close proximity to the Port being within walking distance to the Cruise Ship Terminal. It is not cheap and services are nil ! We even had to pay for some milk for our coffee that was in the room ! Restaurant is also expensive. The rooms are extremely noisy at night definitely no double glazing on windows it is as if windows are wide open they are large rooms ,no water replaced after first night ! The Hotel is very tired and needs a lot of work done to justify the prices charged !

This hotel is in a great great location just a few mins walk to the town and the Moorea ferries and 15 mins from the airport. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Has off street parking. Free WiFi in lobby area. Would stay here again

I stayed here after a long flight with plans to catch the ferry to Moorea the next day. The rooms were clean, quiet, and air conditioned and the location was perfect. The restaurant downstairs was great and it was an easy walk to the ferry the next morning. I wanted to highlight the great service from the entire staff, especially the two people working the front desk. They were so helpful going above and beyond answering all my questions about the ferry to Moorea, comparing it to flying, pharmacy locations for motion sickness medicine, and more. I for sure recommend this hotel.

We couldn't recommend Hotel Tahiti Nui. There are a couple of positives ie well-located and the rooms are a good size, but the positives end there. The negatives are numerous: - The front rooms are located on a very busy highway and the noise is evident even with the window closed. When we returned from our cruise, we asked to be moved to a quieter rear room, but we had to pay an extra A$20 per night for that as it wasn't part of the deal that was booked for us - No safe in room! In 2024 this is unacceptable for any hotel and it is archaic to have to access one's valuables in the safe in reception. - There was a distinctly noticeable draught noise coming under the door in our room and we had to roll up the bathmat and place it behind the door to reduce the noise. - There was a desk but the TV took up most of the desk, meaning one had to write in a small corner of the desk, which was awkward. - The bathroom is too dark and needs more lighting. - The shower only has an inadequate hand-held shower mechanism and no rain shower. - A napkin is provided to place the soap on the basin. A soap dish is needed as this is ineffective and messy. - There is almost no lighting in the corridor leading to our room and it was difficult to determine the room number when we first entered. Further, there is a small step when exiting the room and I tripped down this due to the inadequate lighting. - The pool is used for Aqua Aerobics classes. The Instructor calls out "une, deux, trois" etc which is not conducive to relaxation when seated on the balcony. Further, when the class is in progress, no guests are in the pool so this restricts guest access. Over 1.5 days, the class was held on three occasions. I believe a gym/instructor is renting the pool and this is most irregular. - When I asked the mature female receptionist for a recommendation for a reasonable Italian restaurant for a pizza, her response was "It depends what you mean by reasonable". This was most unhelpful and I found her manner curt. - The breakfast price was quite high, so we didn't eat there. Instead, we ate at a nearby cafe and had a very good, full breakfast for exactly half in total what we would have paid at the hotel. - There is a smoking container for cigarette butts at the lift. This suggests that smoking is permitted in the atrium area of the hotel and, again, in 2024, is not ideal. It would be better if smoking were restricted to one single area in the hotel with clear signage. - One of the lifts has broken tiles on the floor. When I showed this to a male receptionist, he said he would notify Maintenance. However, I wonder how long the broken, wobbly tiles had been there? I could not recommend this hotel and am disappointed that our agent allocated it as part of our package

After a week in Morea, we had to stay the night in Papeete in order to catch our 4 AM flight home. Checked out the reviews, and they all sounded awful, so we chose the Hotel Tahiti Nui as the least awful. We were very pleasantly surprised at how good it was. The room was comfortable and clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. The greatest surprise was the restaurant. We had one of the best meals of our stay, absolutely superb. As good as the Sofitel. Definitely deserves a 5 star review.

The property had been recently updated. The staff was extremely helpful with my wife and our situation. Super friendly, very polite and positive.

Hotel staff was courteous and helpful. Room was spacious and clean. Could easily walk to the main market and other shopping as well as the waterfront promenade.
