Excellent service and friendly staff. They even accompdated our late check out. The hotel is very clean. Would highly recommend.

This is a historical hotel where the author of James Bond books once lived and where one of the movies was filmed. The rooms are good quality. The spa has a swimming pool, jacuzzi, massage showers, hammam, sauna. However, they refused to give me more than 1 towel per visit. The breakfast is good quality. You can order a custom-made omelette with various ingredients. The fruit choice included mango and papaya even in winter. The only unpleasant moment was that they tried to downgrade the room category for us (give a lower category room than originally booked, even though it was in low season). I have never experienced that before in my entire life. Fortunately, thanks to an efficient intervention of the trip.com customer support, we managed to get the exact room type that we originally booked, but there was a little bit of a stress, so I advise everyone to double-check directly with the hotel what room category you will be put in BEFORE you arrive.

I had my rehearsal brunch and welcome event here this August/September. I worked with Marta for over a year to plan these events and she was absolutely fabulous to work with. Her attention to detail and making sure that everything went according to how we envisioned it. The food was also INCREDIBLE! Our guests loved everything and loved staying at the hotel too. This was our second stay here and we had a great stay both times. I could not recommend this place more! Especially for any type of event! I will say- the ONLY bad experience we had was our ride to and from the airport. When the driver picked us up from the airport, we were told in advance we could pay by card and the driver said his machine was broken and demanded cash. He said he would arrange a different car for our way back to the airport so it would be cheaper… his son ended up taking us to the airport and ALSO would not let us pay by card and charged us the same amount (120€). Definitely got ripped off and they put a bad taste in our mouth. Just Uber… don’t give these guys your business because they will try to screw you over. I’m not deducting a star from my review though because the hotel really is great and Marta and the rest of the staff were all fabulous!

The hotel is extraordinary for its elegance, service, and value. It's one of the finest properties at which we have ever stayed. The decor - in our room, in the hallways and in the public spaces - is exceptionally fine and well-maintained; the property looks fabulous. Service at poolside (food and drink) and at the breakfast buffets was perfect. The breakfast buffets were wonderful.

Beautifully maintained classic hotel with friendly helpful staff. Superb breakfast. Well organised transport to the golf course courtesy of Ricardo whose constant cheeriness made up for any golfing disappointments. Pool was very clean with ample loungers. It was the end of the season so a little cool. I didn’t get round to trying the spa pool which looked excellent

To be honest I love this hotel. The staff are lovely, the breakfast is amazing, rooms clean and the pool is very relaxing. Did have a slight issue when we didn’t have a kettle and it took 3 asks to get one but I think it was a communication issue rather than anything else and also not the end of the world. We got massive apologies and they were kind and polite I will 100% be staying here again

This was the most beautiful and elegant hotel I have ever stayed in. I truly felt like I was treated just like the royalty who stay here. The staff was so helpful and friendly and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. The food was delicious, from the sumptuous breakfast buffet to the light pool side lunches to the late night cocktails and munchies. Our room was magnificent. We were attending a family wedding and I will tell everyone I know to make plans for a stay at this dream hotel!

The hotel is beautiful but does need an upgrade in terms of bedding and amenities especially at the charged price. The staff and service were above reproach. The breakfast was delightful and catered to dietary needs and the spa was very relaxing although there was a bit of rusted equipment. We didn’t take any treatments as they felt quite expensive even compared to London prices.

The staff here are so friendly and helpful, and nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast buffet is spectacular and dinner in the Four Seasons Grill is an amazing experience complete with show cooking! Half our party “lived” on the golf course, which is stunning, and the other half enjoyed the spa/pool/sea, together with the lovely towns of Estoril and Cascais. The hotel itself is very beautiful, and our rooms were comfortable and clean. Complimentary ice cream at the pool was also a nice touch. We will definitely be going back!

Very old fashioned charm with excellent service all round. Large and well cared for pool with plenty of seating. Plentiful breakfast with more than you could want. The rooms are dated but very well cared for and air con is controlled by the front desk. Plentiful amenities and well looked after rooms; I was given left port, pasteis de nata, fruit and a birthday cake and chocolates on my pillow. Staff were amazing thank you!
