Kempinski Hotel Bahía

Staying at an air b and b in the old town we were in need of some luxury and a pool! We did the day pass option and loved it!! Gorgeous hotel and the pools are stunning!! An adult section too which is always a win. Towels and a cool box of water provided. We also had lunch at spiller beach club which was delicious.

We stayed for just one night and I wish it had been for longer. We had a junior suite with a sea view, and it was a lovely room with good aircon, and large balcony space. We had really nice cocktails at the pool bar in the afternoon, and then sat at the Black Rose bar in the evening, which was perfect for a chilled night. The cocktail of the day was like an Aperol Spritz and was amazing. Then a Blood Orange Negroni, awesome. We dined in the restaurant overlooking the sea, and it was a pleasant evening. Loved the food, oysters, ceviche and shared dorada for main. It was all served perfectly. Some nice and reasonably priced Alberino wine. Perfect. This is a real luxury experience, and we loved every minute of our stay.

Excellent location , service and rooms. Good on site eating locations.The staff were all really friendly .Exactly what we expected of a Kempinski. Great for visiting local places ,such as Ronda,from. Concierge is great at sorting things. We will definitely return

My recent stay at the Kempinski Bahía was quite disappointing, especially for a hotel that claims to be 5-star. First, the hotel and its facilities are extremely outdated, and a complete renovation is urgently needed. The lack of staffing was also apparent throughout our stay. Requests were not handled promptly due to the shortage of personnel. We arrived at 3 AM, and to our surprise, there was no one to greet us or assist with our luggage—no bellman in sight. Additionally, we had requested a king-size bed, but instead, we found two single beds pushed together, which was quite uncomfortable. At the pool, the service was equally disappointing. Not only was the quality of the pool bar poor, but we had to get up ourselves to retrieve a menu, as no staff approached us to offer one. The cocktails we ordered were subpar, and when we requested towels and mattresses, it took an unreasonable amount of time for them to be delivered. This hotel unfortunately falls short of its 5-star rating. Based on my experience, it does not even meet the standard of a luxury hotel."

Hello For our Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve we have decided to stay in Kempinski Hotel Estepona Hotel is located near interior Estepona highway. Due to this issue while staying in the hotel and its gardens you fell completely isolated and comfortable. It is also easy to drive everywhere. Hotel is a bit old property but maintained in very good condition. It’s a truly 5 star standard. Due to my research in autumn or winter time of the year you will not find anything better with a sea view - especially while traveling with kids . There are two much more luxury hotels - Villa Paderina / Finca Cortesin - but this places are focused on golf players. I’m putting 4 stars instead of 5 stars as to deserve for 5 stars from my side it is a far way :) All in all it is a perfect property at this part of Spain . You have to know that in this part of Spain there is a total lack of properties like in Italy or southern France . No Belmond /Ritz or four seasons

Disgusting attitude from Aranthya at the spiler club restaurant. Been coming for 6 years and won't return again. Was told things like"dont come back" "Darling". Needed to get the final comment before walking off proud of herself rather than welcoming a family to their table

While making the reservation, I asked for a quiet room. The room we were accommodated in was on the edge of a building bei a very noisy motorway - the horrible noise was day and night!!!While making the reservation, I checked whether it was possible to receive a twin room with two separate beds, three weeks later (but still before coming to the hotel) I asked about it again and each time I received confirmation that I would be accommodated in room with two separate beds . Upon arrival, we received double room had one large bed. If I had known that I would be cheated, I would not have booked at this hotel. No reaction, no apology, even no answer for my complaint! I contacted to several person from the hotel staff.

Wonderful hotel and staff. Beautiful pool and garden area. Right next to the town of Estepona where you will get a much more authentic experience than Marbella but still only 20 minutes from Old Town Marbella. Rooms were great with wonderful view and new and clean. Housekeepers did a wonderful job every day. Highly recommend if you will be visiting the area.

Nice hotel with polite staff. Everything good, but bathrooms slightly dated. Food and drink good, service good, staff nice, grounds nice - great breakfast and charming staff - just about time they refurbed the rooms and bathrooms. The ceiling in the bathroom had been re painted a few times to cover up the mould! Time for a refresh! But, would still go back.
