Riad Al Manara

Beautiful clean, relatively new Riad. Wood work throughout is breathtaking as is the central area which is comfortable and welcoming. Filtered water offered at the front desk in lieu of bottled water. Room 3 was my room with I believe a queen sized bed, nice bathroom with fabulous bath towels that are very large. Shower was beautifully tiled but very slippery. Difficult to tell which was shampoo and which was body soap.. nothing was labeled. Breakfast was prepared by two women who were totally delightful despite not speaking English. It was comprised of eggs, pancakes ,bread, assorted jam, fresh juice, and yogurt. Food was plentiful but hot items were cold as they prepared in advance. Air conditioning but room window doors opened to an open courtyard and sky. There are numerous stairs so beware people with bad knees. Overall a nice place to stay but experiencing new growing pains. Room 4 is a double but really too tiny for two people and does not have the amenities of the larger rooms. There are only 5 rooms in this Riad.
