Alua Village Fuerteventura - All Inclusive

Our first impression was not a good one as there is no porterage and we had to carry and drag our own cases to our room which included stairs. We paid extra for a sea view which was only a partial one but the area our room was in a quiet part of the hotel. Again anyone with a disability would have some difficulty with all the stairs . Reception staff were excellent. We paid extra for my favourite club which was well worth it. I did aqua fit in the indoor pool and the metal steps into it need fixing or replacing as they are loose!The French entertainment staff were loud and sometimes intrusive inside and outside! Every night in the main bar at 7.30 as part of their contract (so we were informed) they have a French game for over half an hour which no one but French can understand (i pointed out that if they explained it in any other language prior to it starting we might’ve tried to enjoy it). The food was not too bad but the chef preparing omelettes also had to do pancakes fried eggs and also replenish bacon etc - no wonder he never smiled. There was lots of chipped crockery. The menu in the al a carte restaurant was very limited and I was told was the same every night - a tuna starter and also for the main and you had to buy drink in there even tho we were all inclusive ! The bbq one lunchtime was excellent. The housekeeping was also excellent and the hotel is very clean. All In all not a bad holiday but there are areas needing improvement! Also beware of mosquitoes in the room so be sure to take some repellent!

Excellent staff, good food and nice clean comfy rooms, better than most hotels on Fuerteventura. Beds are comfy, the food is good, staff are friendly and helpful. This is my 8th trip to this island, and certainly a good hotel to stay with.

The hotel is absolutely gorgeous with the most beautiful views however all of the entertainment is in French which is not great if you are English and cannot understand a word said. The food is below average, not much choice. Pretty much fish and pork every night and lunch not much different. Drinks were not great, sugary watered down cocktails pre made and not fresh.

I have stayed in this great resort between 3. – 12.4., resort is predominately consisted from the clients from France, well I've never well left out or anything, there were daily and night activities for everyone, we were pretty mixed up and this was beauty of my holidays. You just need to dare to try, A+ for entertainment teams! Hotel location is right where it needs to be. Close to the beach, quiet and very relaxing.  Town Morro Jable is just a few minutes driving with a taxi or with a bus which costs 1.40 euros. Food – every night there is a different thematic night. If you want Mexican, Spanish, Italian and etc.Gala on Friday was especially great surprise, they even have a barbecue on Thursday afternoon around the pool are, I think this is soo cool. Cleanliness – what to say, rooms a immaculately clean A+!  All the staff, from restaurant, reception, maids, entertainment are really friendly and will try to help you if you need help. Reception staff speaks perfect english, so I really don t understand some previous reviews.If you are coming with prejudice that is mostly french hotel you won t have amazing time, just forget, relax and you will feel welcome and included. We stayed for 5 nights all-inclusive as a British-American couple. Overall experience was 3/5 but we downgraded to 2/5 due to a couple individual events. I would call this a nice 3 star and not a 4 star resort. Mentions (not good or bad, just things): - This is a resort for kids and families. There are kids everywhere, kids classes, etc. even in the 'adults only' areas and times. We didn't know this and would stay at another resort for a relaxing couples experience. Great for entertaining children though.  - Everyone was French. So much so that the staff all spoke French as default. I barely heard any Spanish, let alone English. Very hard for non-French speakers.  Poor situations: - At check in, the host barely explained anything to us and we ended up finding things out awkwardly/towards the end of our stay. They also said they have some spa features they simply don't have. Another host also made a big fuss about new batteries for our room TV remote, which was dead, and about drinking water, which is in the cons below.  - Some of the staff were so rude. Acting bothered when ordering drinks at the bar, being confrontational, enforcing weird rules. Didn't make us feel welcome. Some were great but didn't make up for it.  Pros: - The resort is beautiful. It's on the top of a hill, with a beautiful view of the coast and the local town. There are 3 outdoor pools, palm trees, rock features, they did a great job. It also gets sun all day due to the position. - Food and drink are truly unlimited. You can eat and drink as much as you want (within some weird rules in the cons) - The hotel is clean, we regularly saw gardeners, the housekeeping was attentive and kept the room nice.  - Day entertainment is great, especially for kids, there's ping pong, volleyball, basketball, aqua classes, card games, mascots, etc.  Cons:  - As above the service was inconsistent and often poor. Staff were rude or bothered by our presence or requests. No one spoke any English, only Spanish or French. I know Spanish luckily but other non-French tourists struggled.  - We had ants all over our floor even though we brought no food into the room. - As above, English outside of the reception staff was poor, only French or Spanish.  - They had weird rules - no coffee between meals, inclusive drinks only til 11pm when the bar was open til past midnight, no drinks in the spa building - but then they didn't stick to their own rules, like adults only times. - Many small hidden costs - 10 euros to rent a pool towel, which you need for the sunbeds, 10 euros to use the room safe, 20 euros to access a terrace to sunbathe on, most cocktails weren't included on all-inclusive, only purchased bottled water outside of meal times - strange.  - No welcome water or free water in the room was a new one for me in any hotel. - The TV only has Sky News in English, there are plenty of options in other languages though. - The snacks in between meals were just leftover lunch. - They h

SEJOUR DU 26 MARS AU 09 AVRIL ( JUSTE RENTRES CET A-MIDI ) hôtel sympa a taille humaine, personnel particulièrement a l'écoute et très sympathique. mention spéciale a Mr Jalal dont la gentillesse et l humour sont a souligner!! et parle un Français impeccable !! mention spéciale également a Angel qui a su nous rassurer , et nous prévenir lorsque nos bagages sont enfin arrivés !! :) Les chambres : simples, propres, fonctionnelles. Ménage effectué chaque jour, top !! La nourriture : comme évoqué par d'autres personnes, très correcte, il y en a pour tous les gouts. Notamment le poisson!! toujours présent et très bon !! Equipe d'animation Lookea : très sympa, nouvelle équipe arrivée en même temps que nous, pas insistants sur les activités , ca c' est un plus pour nous!! Franchement, pour passer un bon séjour en famille ou en couple, je recommande cet établissement et l equipe d'animation qui y travaille !!

Super fun holiday for the family. Food was good as long as you’re prepared to try new things. The animations team in particular work super hard to make sure people are enjoying themselves. Super comfy beds!

We went to this hotel for the Easter holiday with family there was 10 of us .we had a fantastic time food was really good staff very friendly lots of Sunbeds never had to struggle to get one.Rooms and hotel very clean loved the spa indoor pool aswell.The only miners were the entertainment was mostly for the French pools were unheated and very cold ok for more summer time tho.Beautiful beaches nearby aswell.
