Tui Magic Life Fuerteventura - All Inclusive

Currently sat by the pool now for the first really sunny day in a week so been disappointed but that's not anyone's fault. This is the first all inclusive we have ever done so have nothing to compare it to. Check in was slow and the resort was very big.We did got lost so thank you to the German guests who helped us find our way in the dark. Our room was in block 14 initially where it felt very remote and away from the bars to get drinks.The wunder bar is quite away to get the first coffee of the day.Needing to get dressed to walk across the grounds There is no tea / coffee in the room. Breakfast is plentiful but I agree not always hot. Lunch and dinner was incredible choices. I felt it was varied as the week went on,pork,turkey,ribs,steak,curry,noodles... Again not always hot. We had an issue with our room and reception couldn't have been faulted with instant removal of a change with complimentary cava and marmalades which was very sweet. This was in block 14.This was way more central.However the generator/ gas smell when you left the room was horrid. The pool area was chilled and no reservations for beds. The entertainment team worked hard and not our thing.However thoroughly got involved and had a blast with the silent disco and whatever else was on offer. The plaza bar..make friends with Ibrahim..the measurements are superb with him!!! I was confused by the drinks and the machine cocktails.The plaza bar making the drinks.The snack bar a machine. Beer,wine and soft drinks on tap. Coffee was best made fresh at wunder bar. The premium drinks at an additional cost but in my opinion worth it. If you like an evening stroll this hotel is a little way out from Morro jable and not pavemented the whole way with raised drains so i if you have walking or sight issues you need to be careful. A taxi is around a tenner to the shops. The on site shop is super too. There are in site restaurants which you can access one visit per stay.If you want to visit again it's 10 euros. Also a launderette and allocated courtesy rooms.

The hotel is fine, nothing fancy, looks nice but look a little closer you'll see the cracks. Drinks are limited but for a fee you can upgrade to premium which gives you limited premium drinks. What ruined it for us was the weather... Cold, rain, gusts of wind.. When the sun did come out wasn't for long.. Couldn't wait to get home.. At night people wore hats, scarfs and big coats... Not the hotels fault.

This is a great resort and great facilities but the problem is the culture in the naturist area. The age old story of selfish people reserving sunbeds with towels. Today I counted 34 Sunbeds with towels on that were being ‘reserved’ for the bulk of the afternoon and that is 1/3 of the available Sunbeds not being used but also rendered unusable, or so that’s the implication. Initially, and I think channelling my English reserve, I ended up sat on the floor surrounded by empty Sunbeds. Did anyone assist? No! the pool guy said nothing to do with him and the other naturists seemed unconcerned…the general atmosphere being that of a mortuary - bodies laid out in rows. I did go to reception and was advised to just clear one of the Sunbeds because in truth they cannot be reserved. When I went back to the naturist area and took a sunbed ‘by revolution’ a woman started shouting at me in French, quite nastily. It seemed I was breaking some unofficial code that doesn’t actually exist in reality but that mattered to her. I held my ground whilst the undead looked on in corporeal silence. The drama passed and the undead went back to sleep. Later I made my concern known to guest services. They said they would send someone down tomorrow to look into the situation because they agree it is not right. If nothing changes I may have to take another sunbed by revolution tomorrow! but will take my tin hat in case I am ambushed again. I do hope guest services sort this out because it’s a nice place spoiled by selfish small minded attitudes. If people didn’t hog the facilities when they don’t need them, there would be enough for everyone all of the time. People do that cringy thing of coming down before breakfast for the ‘prime’ spots. I’ve been to this hotel 7 times, I’ve paid and am entitled to use the facilities. If you visit here and find the same situation please remember that towels do not reserve a sunbed here despite what the undead think, and you are perfectly entitled to take one if you need it and want to use it…but don’t forget your tin hat!
