Amazing service and food. Quiet and charming. Detailed information about what you are getting. Ernesto was friendly and paid attention to our needs consistently. Although rooms are tight, we got what we needed for one night. Will come back definitely.

I traveled here with friends and had a wonderful time. One friend was from Corrales, another from Santa Fe and they were both glad to discover this gem. I selected it because of proximity to chimayo/taos/abiquiu and it was perfect our rooms were comfortable, our hosts very welcoming and each day gourmet fresh breakfast was the highlight of our day (even for the vegetarian and the vegetarians often get scraps)!The morning and evening times were full of beautiful bird song and fresh clear air. It was hard to leave and I recommend the Casa highly and hope to return soon.

Authentic and charming stay in the heart of Chimayo. Cozy accommodations with everything you may need. Ernesto and the staff are very hospitable. Location is also very convenient for exploring surrounding towns. Definitely look forward to staying here again when I am back in town!

Great getaway from the world. Beautiful setting with wonderful birds all around. Ernesto is a very caring owner and his breakfast is so delicious. His staff could not have been more friendly. Pinon and Juniper rooms were perfect and comfortable. The small town of Chimayo is very historic with the Santuario de Chimayo and the famous restaurant, Rancho de Chimayo. Many weavers in the area with beautiful woven rugs, clothing in southwest styles. Its wonderful to be able to support small family businesses and we hope to return.

Wonderful, quiet, charming. I enjoyed my stay tremendously. Ernesto, the host was warm and accommodating. The food was delicious and beautiful. My room was spotless, cozy, and comfortable, nicelyappointed . The bed was perfect- very comfortable. There were bedside lamps and convenient electrical outlets.

We were delighted with our experience at Casa Escondida. Ernesto and team are all customer focused. The bed and room were comfortable and quiet. The location is key to many areas of interest. Each and every breakfast was a delight and fulfilled taste buds. The approach to a time you want breakfast allows for individually made hot breakfast ( not line food that has been on heat for an hour). We met engaging other individuals while our stay. The last night we had a fire in the share living room which was delightful. I walked the labyrinth made by Ernesto wife. I have walked many and it was a quiet walk.

Everything I expected it to be. A quiet getaway nestled up on a small hill. The linens were so soft, the pillows so fluffy. Morning coffee watching the sunrise is beautiful. All my senses were fulfilled. A much needed life/mind /soul recharge.. You have to experience this. I recommend the Luminaria suite or the Vista suite.

I went for a weekend getaway and I got the greatest experience ever. The breakfast was awesome. Oh the coffee was incredibly delicious. I would recommend it to everyone We woke up to snow outside. The rooms were clean and beautifully decorated.
