A wonderful base for a safari adventure in Uganda. Quiet, cool gardens to help get away from the Entebbe heat, and clean, comfortable rooms. The staff are fabulous too - they really can't do enough. Special shout outs to Gift, Anne and Matthew! The food was great too, with lots of lovely soups, grilled dishes and vegetarian options too. Will definitely stay here again next visit!

Papyrus Guesthouse made my girls and my son's stay welcoming and warm. After a mix up at the airport the family were tired and hungry. The staff was very kind to let them check in so late and still feed them. I appreciate them being attentive and kind and the rooms are beautiful. I highly recommend them.

This is a fantastic guest house close to Lake Victoria and about 15 minutes to Entebbe airport. the rooms are spacious, clean. wonderful hosts of the guesthouse. I have stayed in many places in Africa and I would come back here again and again.

My Irish cousins and I began our trip to Uganda by relaxing at the Papyrus Guest House for a few days. It was a perfect base as we shopped for our stay at a school four hours from Kampala.

I stayed overnight at Papyrus Guest House after arriving at the airport and it was the perfect place to relax before setting off on safari the next day. I had a very nice upstairs room with a lovely balcony overlooking the lush gardens. The meals were very good - and very plentiful! And the staff were all excellent - nothing was too much trouble to make my stay an enjoyable one. The only thing I missed was a hot shower in the morning as it was a bit temperamental.

Nice, clean guesthouse close to the airport. Airport shuttle, great breakfast, friendly staff. Would definitely stay again.

Good guest house, very well decorated and clean.
Only problem was the shower, which was weak and the hot water were not stable

A warm welcome greets you at the friendly, clean oasis. Lynette was kind and efficient with our check in, our room was clean, spacious, and safe. All of the staff were gracious hosts staying one step ahead of our every need. We ate breakfast there and it was served hot and delicious. Be sure to ask for a cup of Matthew's spiced tea!
